Absolutely terrible service Employees don’t show up to work, and when they do show up, they don’t do much. Higher up people are terrible at communication. If their employee calls in, no one calls to tell you, you just have to sit around and wait to see if you’re actually going to get help, you pay for, that day!!

Someone named Stacy Klein was supposed to help me out with finding a home for me to live in. After she quit her job a thing named Connie took over my case. Between her and the social worker at wellspring want my family to take me to probate court to have a guardian and payee appointed for me. They told my family that I was incompetent. I am not incompetent. Connie along with the social worker at wellspring need to be fired. They have made my life a living hell. I'm getting a hold of elder law attorneys because I am going to sue A&D, Connie herself and the social worker at wellspring. All I wanted was to get a home to live in. The house in Mayville is probably gone now. Connie has screwed up. My daughter and granddaughters were supposed to move in with me are stuck in Missouri. I'm going to ask a monetary value. They screwed with the wrong person.

I called A&D to set up some in home care for family members. Spoke to them was told no problem, someone would call me the following week to set up an interview appointment. I waited a week, no call. I called back and left a voicemail message. No return call. Waited 2 days called again. Spoke to the lady I talked to the first time who said she didn't set up those appointments the nurses do. She confirmed my phone number said a nurse would call me back. That was 3 days ago still no contact. I will be going elsewhere for services for my family. A simple call to say, anything, sorry we're really busy, can I call next week to schedule. Or even a , sorry we can't take them on right now we are too short staffed, would have been nice..

This company did an extraordinary job helping my octogenarian mother remain in her home during her final years. Linda Ambrose, who oversees the home care program, was instrumental in sharing the benefit of her many years of experience to help me figure things out like how best to keep my mother and her caregivers safe as my mother's physical condition deteriorated. Other home care companies I had worked with didn't seem to be aware of ordinary standards of care for an elderly person whose physical abilities diminish over time. In some cases these other companies made suggestions that seem very unorthodox and even unsafe in retrospect. & when no one was available in town in an emergency, Linda and Shawn Story were available to check in on my Mom's condition and help determine when she needed to go to the doctor or emergency room, or to figure out how to implement changes the doctors would make to Mom's meds. I would say for someone reaching the point of needing 24x7 care with some limitations due to dimentia or other limitations to cognition, learn from our family's mistakes and do yourself a huge favor by starting with this company first.

Not happy with them at all. I brung my mom home 2 weeks ago. #1 consern was to have someone here on fridays. At the time oh no problem. Still no one on Fridays. She has to be alone. May have to call another agency. Golden Years last time were wonderful...
