Michelle is condescending and rude. I am on 1000 mg of prednisone daily due to a Multiple Sclerosis exacerbation. She’s insisting she needs to assess me in person. My doctor said no visiting cuz of suppressed immune system. I’m afraid of Covid. Sally said they won’t service me, although I’m a former client. I’d give them a zero if I could. Badal their pt is amazing

If I could I would also give a 0. So many reasons. He always had blood with every catheter change. He had infection after infection. I called and asked them to check for bed sores. They said he was fine but he wasn't...he had bed sores. Then, I received a call from his nurse asking where he was. He was in the hospital and Assured had been notified. She then told me she had been 2 days earlier and he didn't answer the door...so she left. He's homebound. She didn't call to ask. She just left. He could have been laying on the floor dying and no one would have known. When we decided to change companies, they were rude to the new company and hung up without giving needed information. I could go on but you get the idea.

THE WORST! My Aunt was in Hospice care with Assured at her Senior facility. The aide panicked when my Aunt had a stomachache and shoulder pain and called 911...Did not call me, or their Hospice nurse...sent straight to the hospital. Now it has been a logistic nightmare of hospital and hospice rules and regulations. Finally trying to get my Aunt back to her apartment and Assured has refused to now give her care. I talked to the owner Zahir, and I told him I was confused that they were telling me they would not care for her when they had not even assessed her. (My Aunt was back to herself after being drugged up on Ativan at the hospital for three days) He kept telling me.."My attorney this, my attorney that..." I said, "I do not believe your attorney is the one giving her care and that I cannot believe you would be making decisions for Seniors based things that were not factual, and may I remind you that we would NOT be in this situation if your aide would have not called 911 and we would have treated my Aunt the way that we signed up for..."HOSPICE"!...Do I need to have my attorney contact YOUR attorney?" Zahir said, "Forget it now, we will not reassess your Aunt and we don't want anything to do with you or your Aunt" Yes, the owner hung up on me because I questioned him on his integrity. A NIGHTMARE! NEVER, ever, EVER use Assured Care. You just do not know what type of care you're getting!

I would give 0 stars if Google would let me. I tried setting up care for a post op elderly patient. After 3 attempts and MANY promises that things would get done to help my patient and talking to the SUPERVISOR the patient was ignored. They claimed that my patient was lying about accepting service. When I confronted the supervisor about ignoring this patient and how unhappy I was and would never refer to them he began to have an attitude and blame my elderly patient. Very unacceptable! Extremely unprofessional business and do not own up their word. I would NEVER recommend them to anyone! I ended up using another company and so glad I did.

On Aug 3, 2017 my father had a scheduled catheter change performed by Marie, a nurse from Assured Care Home Health Services, Inc. at his assisted care living facility. This is a fairly common procedure performed every 30 days. During my afternoon visit I noticed blood in his urine bag. Apparently his nurse at the facility also noticed this and called Marie from Assured Care. This call for help and or advice was never returned by Assured Care. After the shift change, I believe the 2nd nurse from the assisted living facility called once, maybe twice. Once again no return call. The following day his aid noticed blood coming from his penis and covering his diaper. He was later transferred to Henry Ford Macomb Hospital. The doctors in ER / Observation felt his catheter was put in improperly and expanded in his prostate. A bladder infection ensued which entered his bloodstream, Sepsis. He died 9 days after the insertion. Now, do you want the staff from Assured ignoring the calls for help from your loved one?
