I guess I have to post this here too since reviews were disabled on your Facebook after my review (that’s sad). A word of advice for Bayada is don’t make the parents of children fight for good care. Safety was a concern for my family while using Bayada. I lost time with my child fighting to get what he deserved thing that should have been a given when receiving services. We should never feel like our child is a burden to your company. Standard nursing practices need to be used more regularly the unspoken rules of nursing need to be spoken and a part of care plans. Professionalism was also a concern. We did have nurses who did go above and beyond and I’m so grateful for them. Wheny concerns arise they need to be quickly addressed as many of our issues weren’t addressed at all. ie. nurses caught sleeping. Simply taking them off the case isn’t solving issues for other family members. Just one example. It’s hard enough having a child who is medically complex, treat these children like they were yours.

SO many safety concerns with this company. Things have happened that are inexcusable, but our concerns as parents have been pushed to the side. There is no consequences for those who have compromised my child’s saftey. I literally feel as if I’m wasting my breath speaking about my child’s concerns with my child’s saftey. ALL of my concerns haven’t been fixed, they say they have a plan or “they are working on it” and no progress gets made. We are currently looking for a new agency that will meet the basic need of keeping our child safe. I would suggest keeping this ALL in mind when choosing an agency for your child.
