I was assigned a different home care service which never showed up. Allina Health Home Care Services has been excellent in helping me recover from a major surgery. I am receiving nursing visits, PT, and OT services in my home. I especially enjoy the fact that they call and ask what time and what day is best for me. It is important to have a nurse come and take your vitals after being discharged from the hospital. I’ve had several different nurses and they are all very pleasant and do their jobs well. I highly recommend Allina Health for in-home care of your loved ones or yourself. There is no question they cannot answer or will not get the answer for. I find the nurses to be very caring and have wonderful suggestion. Suggestions for any problem you may have.

The first visit by Mercedes to my sister today is (I'm typing as shes being a jerk this entire visit) absolutely infuriating because my sister is a fully functioning working adult being discounted and Mercedes being outright rude to her. It is also it was very depressing to see how far care has sunk for home health care. Sending this rude woman to be condescending and rude is disheartening. Retrain for compassion and care instead of outright rude & condescending.

I complained of shortness of breath several times when they saw me after I was sent home from the hospital. Was told "normal" after surgery. Turned out my lung was partly collapsed. Saw a nurse after brief hospital stay to have this resolved and told her I now felt fine. Two days later she sent a POLICEMAN to my home for I hadn't answered their phone call to schedule my next visit. This wasn't done out of concern, they were now simply trying to cover their as.

I have to thank Allina Home Care for helping me get through this bad time that I’ve had , I fell and have three compression fractures in my back they came out and the very best team was Jon (Jonathan)and Jane ! Without them I don’t think I would’ve come this far in the last month and a half. So please give Jon and Jane a special thank you🥰🥰

We have used allina home health care three times. Each time after a brief hospital stay. The person cared for received speech, o.t., p.t., and nurse check ins. All questions answered. P.t. especially got a frail elder moving again. Person being cared for is 92, blind, and has parkinsons. The extra push broke up the days and reaffirmed our ability to care for him at home. This service is great if you want professional help added to your own hard work. It does not replace what you have to do for yourself.
