My mom had excellent care with CAS for 13 years. I highly recommend them for more personal care that the big box facilities that are way under staffed. Check them out if you're looking for an assisted living home for your loved one.

This place is horrible! The staff are untrained, uneducated, rarely speak English and must do and say what the owner wants or they will be fired or put "on vacation or moved or given long reprimand letters with made up accusations". Staff turn over is extremely high,, RNs only stay less than one year. Food is awful (PB & J, hotdogs, bread, canned soup, crackers, very poor quality). My mother in law, after extended stay, then placed on hospice, was administered morphine by mouth without gloves by a non medical personnel, bedding not changed for weeks, no nutrients offered for 5 days, no bathing for final 5 days, when she passed we could not find a single pair of underwear or bra in her belongings, where did they go? They forced my father in law to move from his large room in the lower floor,, into a 8 x 8 room on the main level, even though he had a queen size bed that fills 95% of the room, you could not put a dresser or a chair or even walk around the room cause the bed is to big for the room. Plus the bed cost over $ 9000 (Sleep Number) and they put it together wrong so all the amenities to the bed DO NOT WORK, we reported mistreatment and abuse to the state several times, the state overlooked all of our allegations and got into "bed" so to speak with owner Donna Novak and said this hell house is doing a good job????? Do not take your dog there!!!! Look at their records, what a joke, plus they love a conservator/guardian company called "Guardian Angels LLC" to take care the residents money, another shoddy court and state setup scam, fight to keep your loved one's at home unless you hate them! Stay away from Community Assisted Living Inc (Apple Valley, Farmington & Shakopee) and Guardian Angel's LLC out of Inver Grove Heights.
