It was a terrible experience, but I found the staff to be caring and compassionate. They managed my mother's pain quite well I think and they treated the whole family like their own. I am forever grateful to the people to who choose to work in hospice care. My only knock on the facility is that the family room, with comfortable couches and chairs, was closed "due to COVID restrictions". Meanwhile the chapel was fully open and people could gather without any spacing restriction imposed. The only reason to keep the family room closed was to keep from cleaning it daily.

My grandmother and many of my close friends and family have been on service as a part of Hospice Ministries. I can’t say enough about the people that helped us through our darkest days. Now, I am a part of Hospice Ministries as well. I look forward to being able to pay it forward and help other family members who will at some point need Hospice Care.

Very compassionate:) My family and I were so incredibly blessed to have had the staff at Hospice Ministries assist us the last few weeks of my fathers life. Dealing with end of life care for someone you love is so emotionally and physically draining. We were so grateful we had help from the nurses, social workers, and administrative staff of this facility offering assistance every step of the way. What we needed most was direction on pain management and honestly just the emotional support they offered. We would have been lost without them. They helped us when Dad was at an assisted living facility prior to his final days and we actually had him admitted the last night so they could effectively manage his final hours and make sure he was as comfortable as possible. We wish no one had to go through the loss of a family member but this is a part of life and the services they provided were so appreciated.

Hospice Ministries was a true blessing to me and my family at the end of my dad's life. From the in-home care to when he needed inpatient care, he/we were treated with nothing but compassion. The physicians and nurses knew what needed to be done to make my dad comfortable. They treated us like family and provided much needed emotional support during a very stressful time. I would highly recommend Hospice Ministries to anyone that is needing end of life care.
