After open heart surgery my father's discharge plan from the hospital included home health services from Delmar Gardens. They lied about the date for intake evaluation three separate times. No one from Delmar Gardens contacted him for four days and only after my sister and I called several times trying to schedule it. Very unprofessional and unethical. CMS regs state that they must contact the patient within 48 hours which did not happen. When this was pointed out, DG was apologetic and asked for another chance to make this right. Then again no contact for over two more days until family called again. I understand staffing issues but this was inadequate to say the least.

Delmar Gardens West is a terrible place! You need to get cameras in there. Employees are rude lazy don't respect the patients at all the state has had numerous complaints and the administrator Richard Taylor needs to be fired nothing ever changes! Sick of seeing the same treatment over and over. Why haven't you done anything about this?
