My experience with Faith was not a good experience. We trusted them with handling the Hospice care for our Mother and I failed to be there for her . I was in communication with their staff daily for the week leading up to the day she passed. I called the office the day before she passed to let them no there was major decline in her health ( she could no longer eat, walk without someone to help her or communicate properly. I talked to the secretary, told her the situation, and she would put me on hold for the manager. Twice she would get back on phone only to tell me he was in bathroom or on the other line . She would take down my call back information and a message and I still never received a call back from him. The next morning my mother was definitely on her final stage of her life . She could not take any of her medications, eat , with or without assistance. As the day progressed it was obvious she gradually became more uncomfortable and started working harder to breath. Now I was starting to panic and left another message with secretary explaining my mother's condition. And again She said she would have the nurse or Kevin call me . In early afternoon I received a message from an anonymous number from a nurse saying" sorry she couldn't talk to me (I'm the eldest son) if there was any communication I needed to have my younger brother whom is 25 years younger and he was also not even present . Keep in mind there was nothing legally binding them to only talk to him. So I got ahold of my brother at his work. He sent a few calls a texts to faith hospice. He received a call or text from one nurse saying she was hours away and I guess couldn't come until later . The nurse finally showed up at 630pm. Stated that my mother's vitals were still normal, although she was in the process of dying, but it could possibly take up to a week before she passed. Just because her coloring and vitals were still ok. She did state that my mom was uncomfortable so we would give her medicines to help her body relax. So the nurse gave my mother the medicine, and then restated that the process could take up to a week. As the nurse was speaking my mother stopped breathing right there in front of us. Believe me I thank God she didnt have to lay there a week like that. Just a horrible and sad experience. FAITH HOSPICE promised my mother and us when we signed up with them that she would be well taken care of her and all her needs would be met to make her comfortable when the time came. they definitely dropped the ball and was not there for my mother .

It's taking me awhile to write this since my mom passed. I wanted to let everyone at Faith hospice know how much I appreciated u all!! Me and my daughter could not of done this chapter of our lives without u all there to help us to get threw. All the Nurses visits and the sitters I want to specially thank u all also. I know it wasn't easy sometimes taking care of my mom, and sometimes I was thinking the same thing.. But know for sure she did appreciate everything u all did for her. Again from the bottom of my heart I was so glad my daughter and me chose FAITH HOSPICE.

Not sure why some ofnthe reviews are bad but my experience has been great. They follow up quickly and the social workers and case management are always working diligently; the nurses call me about my grandpa all the time.

They are so caring and compassionate and they go above and beyond. They are so comforting during stressful times caring for the patient and their family members too. Their team of professionals are truly the best!!
