My caregiver Makenzie R. is amazing. She is a constant source of support and helpfulness. She goes above and beyond to the best of her abilities. I wouldn't trade her for the world. She deserves a raise.

The people that come out are quality people that pay attention to detail and do a great job. Dinged on stars for poor communication about what is going on schedule wise and frequent no shows

We requested care 3 weeks in advance. They called and said they can cover all days. Then on Friday called and said that they couldn’t find anyone for Saturday, the next day! The director called to apologize and said “yeah maybe we should’ve let you know sooner”meaning they were aware all along. We had to rearrange work schedules, since they found someone for Monday. Monday comes and an 18 year old girl shows up with NO experience. NO training. My dad spends mornings training her on how to use the equipment since the person from Phoenix who was supposed to train her didn’t know how to use hoyer lift herself. The home nurse puts the patient covered in urine into bed. I have to come in and tell her that she has to clean her up, as if it’s not obvious. Then I ask if she was able to clean the hoyer sling, she says yes. I come in the bedroom, it’s covered in urine under the patient.

The Hospice side is despicable! My Mother was with them for only a week because of her COPD. Out of nowhere her left leg and foot was 3 times bigger than her right and dark purple, the nurse Suzanna took a photo and sent it to the dr, the dr said, it's not a blood clot...from seeing a photo, this was on a Monday, Suzanna said, "see you on Friday" , I asked why not sooner with my Mom's leg like this and she replied "She isn't scheduled but Mon. & Fri! My Mother started crying from pain and fear and asked me to call an ambulance to take her to the ER, which i did. Upon arrival, they rushed her to get and ultrasound of her leg. The Dr told me she needed Emergency surgery, due to a blood clot that was from her ankle to her pelvis (Remember the Hospice Dr said no blood clot). The Dr said without the surgery, she would end up losing her leg!!! Thanks Suzanna for putting my Mother at so much risk of losing her leg and not caring about her! Suzanna called me, i told her what had happened and all she cared about is me signing a revoke paper, i was a mess and in tears, afraid me Mother would die while under, and this so called nurse only cared about a form! She should work in a morgue NOT with live patients. The Aide was no better, she would shower my mother then stand around waiting for the nurse to finish, then leave, she never once tried to help my Mother with anything else...sighs...HORRIBLE experience.!

The entire team at Phoenix did an amazing job helping my dad in his final weeks! Heather, Heather, Kim, Lisa and the rest of the team were super responsive, had great attitudes, and provided immediate service each time we needed it. I highly recommend Phoenix if you need hospice care.
