The home health service is so unprofessional...the nurse Melinda is never on time and she refused to provided itemized billing. St. Luke's need to get it together.

Seriously how hard is it to hire people to answer a phone? It took family thousands of miles away threatening lawsuits to get your company to give us a nurse that actually does there job and answers when we need something. When one family member passed a few years ago the va had someone showing up every other day to every day. St Luke's hasn't shown up more than once a week.

Great hospital. They have taken care of my parents and me for 12 years. Thank you!

I was dismissed from the hospital because the Dr said I could go home if I agreed to home health care. He said they would contact me the next day to come out. I didn't hear from them and so called the next morning. I spoke with Sonia. She said she needed authorization from my primary care Dr and then I would hear back from them. My primary care Dr contacted them again that morning. Still no call back. I called and was told to leave a message for Sonia. I did. No call back. I called St Lukes concierge who reached out to them. Sonia then said "who are you and what do you need?" I explained I was supposed to have an appointment. She said I'll transfer you to scheduling. It was a recording that went to operator and then hung up. I tried multiple times with no success. I called back and talked to Rick. He was able to tell me that I had 3 different appointments and the first one was over a week away. I told him that would be worthless to me. He called back and said that he was able to get an appointment for pt in a couple of days. So I accepted because what other choice do I have? So 4 days is the 1st time to get any assistance. Thankfully the Lord is helping me because the home health that the Dr expected me to have was non existent. I would never recommend this company. They must be terribly understaffed but there is no excuse for a totally uncaring attitude.if I could give 0 stars I would have. Their website says they meet with the patient within 24 hours of the referral. This is false and should be removed from their website.. This is an update to my initial review. I received a call from Tammy who addressed my concerns and said that she had taken them seriously and had made adjustments so that the same thing wouldn't happen in the future. I appreciate her reaching out. I had used them in the past and it was a positive experience so hopefully it will be the same again should I need home health in the future.

TERRIBLE. I am shocked by how terrible they are! I'm an in home geriatric caregiver myself as a career and they dropped the ball hard. They do not provide continuous care at home at all they will visit you maybe once every 10 days they did NOT take our concerns seriously regarding my dying loved one. They sent us the wrong medication after waiting for days to get here. He's in active dying and the most the were doing was daily visits. They are severely understaffed and continuing to take on more and more patients that they just can't care for. Very disappointed made my loved one dying so so much more stressful and more difficult than it needed to be.
