My husband & I go to KUMed for my Leqembi Infusion. As usual. I was admitted with ease, then led by a nurse to a larger room segmented into smaller areas for each patient to have privacy. Prior to getting to my area, I was weighted then stopped at a small refreshment area to get coffee, water & snacks. Then off to my small area. The nurse prepared my arm for my infusion, she asked questions to make sure who I was & what I was going to have done today. All good. After getting that info, the nurse left & came back with my medication and & proceeded to clean my arm, then looking at my arm veins, she chose one & inserted the needle with precision & made sure the IV was going as expected. Before leaving she asked me if I needed a warm blanket ,water magazine or anything. While there, the nurse came & checked on me several times making sure all was going well. After all the meds were finished, the nurse remove everything from my arm, made sure I was doing well , then said, I am good to go. She walked me to the door to make sure I was steady on my feet & good. I left with my hubby , who was me with the entire time, and we drive home. All Good! 1/7/26 E

I received great service in the Emergency room when I went there with suspected appendicitis. And then great service from the surgeon and surgical team and the nursing staff etc during the time I was at the hospital. All were very nice and caring, and took good care of me to get me back into the ballgame. The room was nice and the food was great also. Larry

I got here Dec 27th. I only stayed for like a couple days. Got to the ER early Saturday night around 7-7:30 p.m. and got discharged on Monday early afternoon. I had my gallbladder removed. This is our go to hospital. Both my parents were treated there when they fell ill. No complaints from me. Excellent service.

My husband and I had an incredible experience with the labor and delivery team at NKC Hospital. Every staff member we encountered was knowledgeable, friendly, compassionate, and genuinely committed to providing exceptional care. A huge shout-out to our wonderful nurses: Rachel (Labor & Delivery night shift, 12/15–12/16), Ashley (Labor & Delivery day shift, 12/16), Makayla (Maternal Child Health, multiple shifts, 12/16–12/18), Jill (Maternal Child Health, 12/17), and Elizabeth (Maternal Child Health, 12/18). Each of them made a meaningful difference in our experience. The lactation team was also phenomenal! Their guidance, support, and encouragement during my first breastfeeding journey was truly appreciated. Dr. Heizman delivered our baby, and she was absolutely top-notch. Our entire pregnancy experience with her was exceptional. She always took the time to thoroughly answer my many questions, and her knowledge, dedication, and kind demeanor elevated our care every step of the way. I cannot say enough positive things about the entire team at NKC Hospital. Thank you to everyone who played a role in welcoming our baby into the world! We are so grateful!

I had to stay here a little over a week/week and a half this month because of a pretty unique medical issue. The emergency room team was extremely understanding and responsive to all of my issues and I never felt put off or questioned. They made sure I was comfortable and worked quickly to resolve my issue. The nursing staff in the ICU and floor 10 are genuinely some of the most kind hearted and nice people ive ever gotten to be around, it was hard to not be positive during my stay with how nice/positive they were with me. I didnt have a single bad experience the entire time I was here. This is the most communicative staff i have ever been treated by, every treatment or medication i received was explained to me and they helped me choose the best course of action for me. The pulmonary doctors / suregons here were also amazing. These people saved my life and were so polite and kind while doing it. If I had to go anywhere for treatment again I would come back here with no hesitation.(the food is also not bad at all for, hospital food it was actually good the food staff and house keeping are amazing and kind people as well). The doctors and nurses even went out of their was to explain treatment to my family and kept them comfortable and calm as they could while I was dealing with my issues. Thank you so much to the entire staff here I truly appreciate everything you did for me.
