During my interview, the manager made me feel incredibly uncomfortable. My uncle was discharged from the hospital on their services. They never showed the day they were supposed to start services causing my uncle to go to the hospital. Please do not hire this company.

My friend had surgery on March 27 and she has yet to have physical therapy in her home. They were supposed to arrive the day after she got home from the hospital and nobody showed although they said they did but somebody was home so that’s impossible. If she wasn’t such a strong person and have people to help her, she would have really been suffering with not having anyone to guide her how to take a shower what exercises to do, etc. Someone did show up on the fourth or the fifth and was appalled that no one had come out to see her yet. She said she was going to make a call as soon as she got in the car and find out why no one had come yet she said she would get somebody out here the following Monday My friend received no phone calls and no visits. I believe that Apollo is one of the most unprofessional, uncaring, unreliable medical services I’ve ever heard of. And I say heard of because none of us have actually ever seen any of them except for that one visit.

Apollo Medical acts like they’re doing you a favor instead of being paid for a service. They don’t make proper appointments and boldly state that that’s not their policy. They will call you the night before or hours before they attempt to visit your home. As if you don’t have other obligations and are only sitting waiting for their visit. Completely unprofessional.

I work with them often to assist patients discharge from the hospital. They are great at accepting patients so that we may let them go home instead of staying in the hospital another night. And many of my return patients have good things to say about the service they received.

My review is about Apollo's website. I've been using the web since the early 90's and computers in general since the mid-70's but incomplete websites like this one irritate the hell out of me. There is no was to access the St. Louis (Creve Coeur) office other than telephone. I prefer the web. At the end of my Apollo home care service (March 2017) nobody ever arrived to pick up the left-over supplies that would never be used. Among the supplies was the Sharps Container. It's still sitting in my bedroom. The issue was staffing. The lead nurse was ill and had surgery. The regular nurse told me that the lead nurse would pick up all the unused products and donate them to free clinics. After a couple of months, we ended up tossing all the unused stuff into recycle but still have the sharps container complete with used sharps. I guess I could put a flower arrangement in it. When I called their office on Old Olive Street Rd. today, I was instructed to simply toss it out with my regular trash. I feel guilty because as a former OSHA Regulation Trainer I know this is against the law. Whatever.
