My Grandpa used your services for a few months, his first worker was amazing. But the second worker stole from him and my disabled uncle. $500 was taken and ALL of my deceased grandmother's necklaces. You all need to do better screenings and check in's on your employees. This is something that should not have happened. I fear this has happened to other people and they did not realize it until it was too late. I also worry that this will continue to happen until you all check in on your employees and let them know this type of behavior will not be tolerated. DO BETTER!

It took me many months to write this please read my experience with this company was not a great one after being hospitalized for almost 2 months. I lost a lot of my strength. I was just diagnosed with a chronic illness and on top of that I was dealing with a lot of anxiety and depression. I had to receive wound care so my doctor recommended a home health agency to help with that, what I thought started out seemingly to be good care instead was almost like a nightmare. My nurse was Phyllis she started out very nice and caring, so I thought but then she started acting as if she was a psychiatrist and she was only a nurse although I was really really sick and wasn’t able to do things as before there was no understanding of what I was going through, the things that they say they would help me fix they end up at the same time telling the clinic where I have my medical treatments embarrassing things about my home and my situation I believe the manager her name was Christine or Carolyn. She said they’re mandated to report. Even though they agreed to help me get better They reported me to the state I didn’t understand because I was very weak. What did you want me to do leap bounds when I can’t walk? If I made one mistake, Phyllis would make sure that she’ll nag me and nag me time and time again it’s like she wanted to give it to me if I was to make a mistake about anything I knew this wasn’t right it didn’t feel right. It didn’t feel like they cared. It was almost like they were trying to destroy me, I mean, I am an adult not a child that needs to be scolded. It was almost like because I was sick. I didn’t deserve dignity or respect when I did forget something and remind you. This whole experience was new to me when I did make a mistake and I will ask Phyllis when she comes to visit to not mention it or nag at me I didn’t want to talk about it, because I already was told about something. She will nag at me anyways. I did not need to be talked to like a child, but of course because she did not respect my boundaries. She did it anyway only to heightened my anxiety and believe me when these people attacked me like they did. I would have an anxiety attack where I couldn’t even sleep at night. I couldn’t calm myself down. My blood pressure was high, I knew this was not right! They even tried to get me put into a nursing home and they defended themselves that they were trying to help me. How can you help a grown woman and adult and not respect them? That is a question I had and I knew their answers. They showed their answers by their actions. and I knew it was time to kick them out and I did. They tried to stop every piece of growth that I was trying to make to get better in health they didn’t want me to get better, even though I was getting better, they tried to stop that to me. There was evil when my leg got stronger and my strength got stronger. I started to drive. Oh no they did not want me to drive. They say I couldn’t drive even though I was already driving. Again no respect, beware of this company. They are the type of people who you cannot trust in healthcare. They do not respect the patient and they overstepped their boundaries! because of them I trust no one I always question.

Phoenix was a wonderful group of professionals to have support my mother in her last few months of life. My mom was reluctant and didn't "want people in her house" but she met Phoenix and the social worker and it changed her mind. There was a whole team of 5 people that were in and out throughout the week for hygiene, medications, check ups, and spiritual care. The Chaplain was good company for my mom and sensitive to the emotional needs of my whole family. My mom was especially blown away when they arranged for a hospital bed to be delivered to another house so she could have a weekend away. They picked up medications and worked with us to make the house comfortable and accessible for my mom. In the last week, they were on call 24/7 and came by at least daily. Thank you for the exceptional care. It will never be forgotten.

When you or your loved one is faced with tough end of life decisions, I highly suggest Phoenix Home Care & Hospice in St Louis. Every single staff member was compassionate, reputable and went out of their way for my loved one the last 3 months. This allowed dignity and comfort as end of life slowly approached. Each staff became a friend to my dear, lively loved one, while maintaining the most professional manner, supporting the family's needs as well. Never a negative issue or encounter this whole time. I feel like this team is seamless and has been working like clockwork for years. I know these workers are regular human beings, moms, brothers, etc, but I feel like they were angels keeping my loved one as comfortable as possible in own home and prepared to leave this physical world with dignity.💜
