Nurses not caring. Not providing accurate supplies Good result asking for new nurse until one is assigned.

(Edited) imagine my surprise upon reviewing the horrors others have witnessed at the hands of what should be a compassionate, empathetic and professional medical entity for end of life care. These people came into my mom's home, telling us she had brain cancer and 6 months to live. My family, of course, was devastated and out of town family started heading this way to see her while they could. An expensive journey for everyone, not to mention the emotional distress for my mother and the rest of the family. Hospice (Fawn) proceeded to come into her home, give her pain meds in a lock box as they dispenced her daily meds for her. My mom was cognitive and coherent. They didnt leave the combination, but said they'd be back the next morning to dispense that days meds. By noon they'd not shown up. I'd been watching her writhe in pain for 4+ hours. I called Fawn, her hospice nurse. Her response, "we will be there by 1:30 to give her the pain medication", 5 hours after she was due to take her meds. I made it clear they said they'd be there in the am and that i was no longer going to watch her suffer, i will be breaking the box. They finally showed up right before 3. Fawn stood at the end of my moms bed and counted her meds because i broke the box. I had given my mom 1 pill as per instructions. As Fawn counted she said they were 4 short. Impossible, we'd not left the room and noone had crawled under the bed to get the box. After Fawn left i walked around the end of the bed and spotted 2 opiod pain pills on the floor. Other than Fawn counting them in that area the meds hadnt been anywhere near that area. My mom has dogs. Had i not spotted them and her dogs gotten ahold of them theyd be dead. The next day fawn arrived with a social worker and informed us theyd be discharging my mom from care for noncompliance. I was blown away. I called and spoke with Jodi, the supervisor, and what i got was the most apathetic, defensive person unwilling to take any accountability in the lack of care. These are not traits anyone taking care of patients should posses. Furthermore, and more important, my mom doesnt have brain cancer, never did, or a "death date". Hospice did nothing but turn our lives upside down, handle this situation with zero compassion or accountability. I tried talking to the supervisor, jodi, and was met with a level of apathy, denial and self-righteousness I'd never seen in my 20 years in the medical field. Please kalispell, logan hospice is not the only choice in that area, but they seem to be the worst. These people and their incompetance have NO business taking care of our loved ones. Its been 2 weeks and i cannot get anyone at logan health to admit wrong doing, apologize to my family or act professional. Addendum: Their answer to my posting reviews was revenge, pure and simple. They systematically fired her as a patient from any care affiliated with Logan Health. She had been with one of her specialists since 1988, but Logan Health bought them out and had the final say, 35 years at that clinic with zero issues. Disgusting.

I want to thank the RNs that took care of my husband. Their priority was for his pain free comfort care. I want to thank Amy, Sue, Susan, Barry Renee as nurses you are the best. I would also like to thank Dezi for keeping my husband looking good. Tedi and Art for helping us so much. You folks are the very best. If I forgot a nurse I’m sorry. The book that was given to us prepared me for the end. I was lucky he got to pass at home. Home Options you folks are the very best.

My grandparents both used home health services. Everyone was polite and respectful. The physical therapist helped them remain independent in their home and helped them with safety. Would recommend again and again!

This place sucks. All they care about is how much money they can get from you. Do not put your loved ones in there care.
