The workers I spoke to and the nurse that assisted me were nice and respectful, but when I’m calling to follow up on my test results (the nurse told me I’ll be receiving a call but I never got one) they transferred me around different areas then the call ends. This is extremely unsafe and shows that the hospital is dysfunctional. What if I had a disease or illness and they’re letting me walk around not only harming myself but potentially harming others. I’ll still be waiting on that call.

The Family Clinic rarely answers their phones and the service reflects this neglect to the basics. There are some dedicated doctors, nurses and staff members, but it's hard for them to shine while drowning all the mediocre noise. It's well known fact on the island that our health care system is shamefully weak, under-staffed and overwhelmed. God Bless the workers who carry on in these conditions.

I assist taking care of an 82 yr old man who has fallen down due to black outs about 5 times in 8 months. I asked to speak with his doctor Dr. Goldman. I have never met this doctor before. When I met him last week, he was surprisingly rude and arrogant. I wanted to update the doctor on the old man's home health care aid I was able to procure for 40 hrs a week. Before I started the update, Dr. Goldman said he didn't want to hear anything I had to say. It didn't matter. But if I had a question, I could ask. Other than that, he said I could give my comments and updates to someone else. I was very sad because he was supposed to care about people. But then again, he fits the reputation of our local hospital! Dr. Goldman, shame on you! I asked the nurse and social worker who both said that my experience with him is not unusual. They have heard many just like it regarding Dr. Goldman. I am not related to the patient, but I just care about people, like so many others do. Sad that the people who get paid the most to help people prove they don't really care by the way they treat others!

5 star for 1st shift. Dr.Michel n ER staff were attentive. 8am shift Dr.K ?? n staff were OK. However; medical discharge instructions n copy of lab works done weren't given to patient. Now I must go to medical records and request for a copy. Considering the last time I ever was in the hospital was when I was born. No consideration was given by discharging doctor. Therefore; I rate 2 stars

Today I had the worst experience in this hospital ever! I was shouted and laughed at by this nurse named JuYeon Song, at Family care center. Me and my friend were concerned about our sudden weight loss situation and went to the ER before. We didn’t know how the hospital works as we don’t go there often, ER doctor suggested might be worm problem and referred us to the family care department specifically said just go there as walk-in. So we did. Today we went there during our lunch time and the doctor also took lunch break so we were told by the register lady that we can just came back at 1pm to register for walk-in, so we did. At 1:58 we were called in by the nurse Juyeon Song, then she asked us to weigh in before she brings us to the exam room. She seemed upset from the beginning. She started questioning us why are we talking the walk-in process and assuming us not having urgent issues without even listening our answers, and started lecturing me and my friend about only patients with serious symptoms can take walk-in process. We didn’t want to make scene that moment so we started apologizing for not knowing how it works and explain how we got here. She cut us off by saying ‘who referred you, which ER doctor, why would they do that?’ Like she wasn’t believing us at all and kept saying that was our fault in this room. I honestly felt so insulted at that moment already but I just wanted to get over her questions and see the doctor at that point. Then it became worse, she started asking my friend’s symptoms and each symptoms my friend said she laughed at her! That was just unacceptable! Despite the fact that was extremely rude and unprofessional of what she did, I realized that she was just not respecting us at all. So I had to talk to her, I just asked her “excuse me ms, is there a problem here with us? I’m really sorry that I really don’t feel comfortable with your attitude towards us. Can we talk about what’s going on before we continue discussing our symptoms?’ She blew up on us and started shouting at me saying: you don’t understand why you are taking the walk-in, this problem shouldn’t be taken as a walk-in and so on… then she slammed the door and walked out. Me and my friend were so shocked how rude this nurse was and feeling terrible after the whole thing! Luckily later nurse Kim and Marilyn came in and were both really nice and helpful to us. We finally got to see a PA Kim and helped us with our concerns. All in all, I wish no one experience this nurse’s rudeness, disrespectful and extremely unprofessional attitude. No patients deserve that kind of treatment what so ever! And this type of behavior should be corrected by the hospital management and this kind of person would bring patients extra stress upon their sickness. I wrote a complaint to the hospital and hopefully they will take it seriously to avoid this happening again.
