This is a fantastic facility especially Dr. Van Winkle. Remove Dr. Boyle though

Experienced the rudest staff along with Dr Kendal Laux recently. Absolutely No Care, Concern or Compassion for the Patient! All she wanted to do was end the appointment with her condescending attitude and provide a bandage solution and not a permanent solution to the ongoing issue under her. Save yourself some time and research this medical practice along with the Bayard location. Find a Doctor that truly understands the patient and is compassionate, caring and concerned!

I just started seeing Dr Laux. Actually my second visit. I thought my first visit was a mishap. I was wrong. She sees me and starts yelling at me didn't I hear her the first time. I'm not even allowed to ask questions. She had a test that was in her lane done and was suppose to get the results on that. Guess not. Nothing to yell at me about. If I could give a minus star for this Doctor I would.

Public recognition SHOUT OUT to our Sheriffs Dept and our Morrill County Community Hospital Emergency Room staff and EMS crew! Last week I had a young family member who suffered serious and severe symptoms related to an unexpected medication response/reaction. Both Morrill County Sheriffs Dept and Morrill County Community Hospital EMS crew responded quickly and were kind, patient and compassionate in assisting this young man and escorting him to our local hospital for emergency treatment. Our critical access hospital is not fully equipped to manage certain serious acute situations and their goal in these emergencies is to stabilize the patient and safely transport them to a more appropriate medical facility for a higher level of care. Due to the nationwide nursing shortage, many hospitals are under staffed and therefore MUST keep their census down in order to maintain in compliance with safe and appropriate nurse to patient ratios. Because of this our Emergency room and hospital staff were having a VERY difficult time finding a facility that had an open bed and was able to take this patient. They were relentless in seeking proper placement for him and never gave up in spite of being turned down by a large number of facilities. All the while they were trying to find a higher level of care facility for him, they continued to prioritize his care and manage his very difficult symptoms with consistent and calm kindness, compassion and much needed patience. The sheriffs dept continued to provide their support inside the hospital setting where they assisted nursing and provided constant supervision and a secure calming atmosphere for the patient. This patient ended up needing continued around the clock care for more than 27 hours total. Finally, an emergency room in Lincoln was willing to take him on transfer to their facility. One of our specialized nurses and the Sheriff himself accompanied our EMS crew in the ambulance with this patient all the way to Lincoln to ensure a safe and timely transfer was made. All of this resulted in the young man receiving the kind of care that was needed in the proper setting for recovery to happen and he was able to return home a few days later without negative residual effects from his ordeal. I am EXTREMELY grateful for and proud of both our sheriffs dept and hospital staff for really rising to the occasion and providing the very best possible care for this patient. We are lucky to have these people as part of our community. I think we are quick to criticize both law enforcement or our hospitals/medical providers when situations, many which are outside of their control, don’t go exactly as we feel they should have or could have. I also think many of the amazing things they go above and beyond for often end up ignored or at least under-noticed. I just wanted to take the opportunity to say THANK YOU so very much for all you do and while this particular circumstance was personal for me, you are appreciated always. Nurse, mom, and community member

I am not one to leave reviews but this hospital deserves to be credited! I had the WORST case of food poisoning and I ended up severely dehydrated, almost to the point I thought my kidneys were failing. I came in panicking, weak, and without my insurance card on hand. I have never felt such compassion and genuine concern by medical professionals as I did from this staff. They instantly got me the treatment I needed, were super understanding of my situation, and kept me calm while the IV was administering. My experience here was nothing short of excellent. 10/10 best medical facility within hundreds of miles!
