Released from the hospital with HH set up with Good Sam w a major wound care need. They were supposed to call the next morning to set up visits and do a wound change. We finally called and got ahold of someone at nooon and the rraponse was "I didn't promise anyone would be there today. I will have to have a nurse call you back." We called back at 1 at 2 and at 3. We were told "We are doing some restructuring and we are not able to take you on as a patient, you need to call the care manager at the hospital and have them figure something else out." 3 p.m. on a Friday before Christmas and they think this is ok?? They obviously do NOT care about the patient, please look for a different option to care for your loved ones medical needs at home. This is NOT the company to rely on.

Please be sure your nurses know they are not social workers. They are not certified social workers and would be practicing outside of their registration or license and outside of their scope of practice, unless they are certified as a social worker, they are not able to claim to be a social worker or do the job of a social worker.
