Horrible facility. Long wait times for staff to answer call lights or respond to help patients. Staff absolutely do not care about their patients. They would rather be on their phones. Food is horrible. Moved my dad to a different facility that treats their patients with care and compassion.

This place is by far one of the better facilities when compared to Emerald or Madonna. Snacks are constantly stocked and their menu has such a variety. The aides are happy helpers , the nurses are quick to respond to concerns and assessing the residents. When I would call for an update on my mom or dad they didn’t have to scramble around through notes to give me an answer , they were actually familiar with them which shows they have been present and active with the residents. I couldn’t have asked for a better place to care for them! If I could rate more than 5 stars I would.

I would never send another family member. There would take her clothing and it would disappear a beautiful blanket I bought for her was gone after about two days. The place smelled understaffed some Staff members were very nice, but most were not. They didn’t seem like they liked their job.

My dad had a horrible experience. The nurses were kind. My father recently passed. He was in tabitha for 2 and 1/2 months for rehab. I asked several times for him to see the doctor (they told us we had to use their doctor). I kept asking why is he getting weaker. Asked for mri asked if we could get a nero apt. After 2 months finally their doctor came in and did xrays, and got ortho apt. Went to ortho they finally set up for mri. Before that could happen my dad lost use of his arms. He requested to be sent by ambulance to bryan. Where they did mri. And got nero. They took biopsy of muscle and found he had Necrotizing autoimmune myopathy. From cholesterol meds. Unfortunately he passed a week 1/2 later. I feel they should have acted quicker when they knew things were getting worse. They didnt listen to my requests. I would not ever put another family member in tabitha. That and I had to do constantly stay on top of the social workers to do their job with insurance.

This place is constantly under staffed. Residents fall constantly there has been a broken arm and a broken back due to falls. Aides are not following state guidelines for transferring patients. When the state investigators came to survey we were all told what answers to give if they stopped us for a interview. The nursing supervisor Mindy had me write down on a piece of paper every question the state worker asked me during the interview and what my answers were and give it to her because all of management was on a group chat while the investigator was there so they would text the questions to each other and have time to tell the aides what to expect and what to answer. I was very uncomfortable and I will be reporting to the state what I was asked to do.
