My mother, Francyne (Miss Fran) has been a part of the Good Samaritan family for the past 8 months. When she started there, it was for rehibilatation and after quite a few weeks , she came to realize she needed more care and no longer felt comfortable living alone. She came to love all the girls on the rehab team and made the decision to stay on at Good Sam. She loves being cared for by the wonderful and dedicated staff. In fact she considers them her extended family and her friends. I truly believe they consider her to be the same to them. I see them treat her as if she is one of their own family members. I see them laughing with her and finding time to share stories with her and including her in activities. I hear them complimenting her and make no mistake about it she loves the attention. I am a firm believer that it's not all about glitz and glam on the outside of a building, it is about the individual care that is given that truely matters and the dedicated people at Good Samaritan Millard are a wonderful example of that. In all areas of the facility, from the nursing staff, to the kitchen staff, the cleaning staff, to the maintenance staff, the rehabilitation staff, and the activities staff. It is clear to me the leadership in this facility, Nick Norby, has a staff to be proud of. I know it is not said often enough, but thank you for all you do.
