For shame on you Genesis! Your on call staff is terrible, and liars. Your effort to care and follow hospice procedures is non-existent. If it weren't for the Humboldt County Sherrifs department and their outstanding officers we would have been at a loss due to your extreme carelessness. DONT OFFER THE SERVICE IF YOU'RE GOING TO NEGLET YOUR DUTIES. DO BETTER!! Your "oncall" nurse failed to mention they weren't sending anyone to call time of death or bare minimum pick up and destroy medications, then when she spoke to the officer lied and stated she did. Absolutely had no idea the established plans in place and called the wrong funeral home who never showed up. Humboldt County had to call the correct coroner 4HOURS AFTER DEATH!!! Do better in end time services that you offer. Hire staff that is willing to do their job or at least notify the family so they can handle it themselves. Complete waste of time to the sherrifs department, and unethical behavior. If I could give a zero star I absolutely would.

Jerry Jackson, you have the wrong Genesis. We have never dealt with you nor have we ever been taken to court over not paying employee or contractors. There are several Genesis home health care agencies in the US, please remove your negative review from our site.
