Amazingly thorough in-house physical therapy. The nurse therapists were professional, caring, and had great personalities. If one follows their guidance, the recuperation should go well. Particular "kudos' should go to Miriam, Jennifer and Destiny. I am continuing to use the techniques they taught on a daily basis. Thanks again to all of the staff who entered our home to help.

I began utilizing Care First Home Health for my wound care needs in mid-June based on their mostly positive reviews .... however, looking at the most recent reviews coupled with my own experiences with this agency, it is abundantly clear their standards of professionalism, patient care, and overall consideration and courtesy for their patients have, sadly, greatly diminished over the last 6 mos or so. I've been in and out of the hospital 2-3 times a month every month since Feb .... upon discharge, a Resumption of Care is required before home health is able to continue. In the few months I was with Care First, it took at least a week to get a nurse scheduled EVERY time i needed an ROC .... and each time was only because I called THEM to get it scheduled. Not once did they ever contact me. Therefore i was consistently without wound care for the 1st 7-10 days of being discharged. This, on top of 2 nurses REFUSING to do wound care for no reason other than sheer laziness, and another saying she was placing an order for supplies "as we speak" - just to never receive aforementioned order, and last but not least dealing with rude and disrespectful Janelle/Janella is why i would NEVER recommend Care First to anyone looking for a good home health agency. The only reason i gave the agency as many chances that i did is because i had a really good rapport with one of the main higher-ups/bosses due to knowing/working with him previously for years on a patient/RN basis with another hh company .... but even with as helpful as he was, and though he seemed to have my back and be on my side up until the end is still not enough for me to even consider utilizing Care First's services ever again. I am now with Alta Care Home Health who received my home health order on the 9/8, accepted me yesterday 9/9, and was here today 9/10 to do my ROC, wound care, and placed an order for needed supplies. THAT'S how it should be .... THAT'S how to start a relationship with a new patient!!!

I am writing to formally express serious concerns regarding the conduct of the physical therapist currently assigned to work with my mother. I am deliberately choosing not to name him at this time out of respect, but I strongly urge that this matter be addressed with urgency. On multiple occasions, this therapist has arrived at our home unannounced and at inappropriate hours—sometimes close to 8:00 PM—without any prior appointment confirmation. This has been unsettling and disruptive, especially considering my mother’s condition. He has also falsely claimed to have shown up for appointments when he did not, which raises further questions about his professionalism and commitment to his duties. More concerning is his behavior during visits. He often makes us feel uncomfortable, walking through the house freely and even attempting to enter bedrooms without permission. We have had to ask him more than once not to go into private areas alone. This is not only inappropriate—it is a complete violation of professional boundaries. We have brought these concerns to his supervisor’s attention multiple times. Unfortunately, her responses have been dismissive and unprofessional. Despite knowing my mother has dementia, she has attempted to question her behind our backs rather than engaging with the family directly and appropriately. This approach is not only ineffective but disrespectful. At this point, it is clear that both the physical therapist and his supervisor are in need of serious retraining in professionalism, patient sensitivity, and ethical boundaries. If these behaviors continue, we will have no choice but to escalate the matter and include full names and documentation. We expect a timely response, an investigation, and immediate corrective action. My mother’s care and comfort are not negotiable.

Everyone appears to very professional, and truly knowledgeable. Michelle is my wife’s nurse and she is very educated and fun. Annabelle her therapist is very sweet and enjoyable.

I just have to give a review on our nurse Priscilla Corza that came to us to help care for my Aunt. I do not know what we would have done without her. She listened to what we needed care wise for our Aunt and educated us and got solutions resolved and in place, and directed us in what was best for our Aunt. Thanks to her we have all our caretakers on the same page as the Nurse Practitioner and Pailitive care which she recommended being my Aunt is hard to get out of the house for doctor visits. She was sent from heaven to help us and I am so grateful for her. We appreciate her so much and I do not know what I would have done without her. We want to thank her for her knowledge and being caring and considerate for the well being of my Aunt. Once again thank you Liz Hershey
