I was referred to the UR First Home Health agency after three surgeries on my left hand. I was skeptical about any possible benefits from Occupational Therapy, but my OT spoke very positively without sugar-coating her words. We worked together for several months and my Occupational Therapist had been right all along. By the time my therapy was done, my range of motion and hand strength were vastly improved and my manual dexterity exceeded all hopes I had entertained in the beginning. My therapist from UR First always arrived on time, was consistently cheerful and friendly while maintaining her professionalism. She offered encouragement when I needed it and used humour at strategic moments too. A supervisor from UR First Home Health made regular visits to inquire how I was doing and whether I was satisfied with the care I was receiving. Everyone I met from the agency was caring, concerned, and professional. Additionally, the equipment and devices that were used during my therapy sessions were the latest inventions and/or designs. So, if I ever need medical care at home, I will unquestionably choose UR First Home Health!!

I was nervous about home health care after a car accident because of low & lack of reviews. I just finished my 7 home sessions and am happy with the service. I only wish my 1st visit didn't count since it was just paperwork and my copay was really high for 7 sessions. Regardless, the staff was very helpful and my physical therapist, Jeff, was great.
