I was very fortunate to have Home Instead care for my husband at his end of days. Home Instead owner came to my house personally the same day they were contacted to provide care. Care started the next day with exceptional staff, equipment, and endless resources for my husbands' comfort. I highly recommend Mr. Despain and his staff for your family member.

Called up to ask for help with my dad. The woman was so short with me. When I asked if we could have a trial, she said "I'm gonna be honest with you, we dont allow you to interview our staff" I said, that's fine "Can we do a trial run?" Then she repeated the same thing two more times. Im like "Im gonna be honest with you, I would like a trial run" Then she hung up on me! So unprofesh.

They are very understaffed. They sent 82 year-old woman with back problems hurt hip to care for me. I have parakeets that does not fly all over my home. The worker had issues with me having birds. They are not as professional as they claim to be their workers are very lazy

She is able to adapt gracefully to mood swings and knows how to create trust and confidence with authenticity and ease. Marty went above and beyond to help my BF and I when we were super in over our heads and stressed to the breaking point. He was very kind and seemed to truly care. I remember the prices being much lower than I was expecting for in-home care. I don't remember the price anymore, but I am definitely not rich, and I knew I could afford it for the week or two of 3 visits a week. If I remember correctly, they require a couple of days' notice if you don't need the services anymore. So i think if your loved one passes, you could end up paying for another 2 hour visit if it was scheduled the next day. Don't quote me on that, though. I guess it makes sense because they have to book constant paying work to pay their employees and stay in business. He told me up-front, which I liked! Anyways, Marty is awesome. He took the time to teach us things that multiple visits of in-home Medicare funded hospice did not bother to show us. He probably saved our relationship as well because caregiving is really tough! Thank you!!
