Well, I do not want this One Star to reflect the actual in-home staff, because my husband Peter has been with VV for years and we are absolutely grateful for every RN, DPT, PT, CNA. These frontliners were our family. As for behind the scenes, well, the office has big turnover, with one consistent bad egg, Donna. I had a fabulous working relationship with Maryann, who quickly departed. She was such a caring person. So, not only has my husband been with VV, but I also arranged with Maryann for Peter's roommate leaving Oasis SNF to be with VV. And, I setup VV for Peter's best friend of 64 years, Dan E (who I also take care of). Well, for Dan E, Deborah-RN, Tavin-DPT, and Monica-CNA (all also my husband’s) they are absolute professionals and gifts. Both my husband and Dan E made such progress but also, felt that they were cared for and loved. You could not ask for a better team. So, outta da blue, Dan E's CNA, amazing Monica (twice a week for showers) could now only come very late afternoon/evening. She actually missed a day. Dan E has Sundowning and Monica always came during the day. VV knew early was critical. Well, not one call from VV (I am his DPOA-HC) but when Monica told me of schedule change, I did call and email VV, multiple times. There was to be another CNA, Mary, to come earlier (3-4p), later that week (it'd been a week since Dan E had a shower), but she simply didn't show up. So, Karen, the new Administrator called me the day after my "get real" email and said she was brand new. Lovely lady. I felt bad she was now with VV. Told me Mary would be there next day. Well, Mary never showed up and when I emailed Karen, she replied, next day… “Hi Laurei I just asked The DON Donna she said Mary’s daughter was ill and she could not come, facility was made aware. Monica will be coming this week, Mary’s daughter is still ill. Sorry for the inconvenience. Can you have the facility bathe him?” (Facility WAS NEVER made aware. I asked four department heads and aides, but as DPOA-HC, why wasn’t I made aware?) I can and will provide Karen’s email to me for proof. So, that was then, and now my husband was discharged today 8/27/25 from Dignity Rehab. Our RN, DPT, and CNA all knew today was the day and they were ready to come back. Again, outta nowhere, Peter’s Case Mgr at Dignity Rehab called me in to listen to a VM from VV. “We have to refuse the referral as we do not have staff in zip 89044.” Truly… Case Mgr just got this as Peter was going out the door of Dignity. WHY? No notice and he has been with VV for a long time with great results. Well, perhaps it was The DON again? So, I am filing a complaint with Medicare for Dan E and now also my husband, only because of The DON. VV’s entire team, over the years, has been outstanding… family. Guess Miracles is NOT what The DON is all about. So, today I had to choose another Home Health agency, at Dignity, as Peter was out the door. I highly recommend In-House Home Health on Warm Springs. I’ve worked with them in the past with Dan E and they were real professionals and caring. Deborah, Tavin and Monica, we are so very grateful for all that you have done for Peter and Dan E. I do feel we have lost our family. Hold your heads high.

My Dad had hip surgery through the VA. The next day after him being home the nurse came out to do the paperwork. The therapist came by the next day and he was great. 6 days later still no nurse and his bandage hadn’t been changed. I called and spoke to the front desk person and asked for the Director of Nursing to call me back. Someone called my Dad and he was so upset with how he has been treated, he told them he didn’t need there help. So no one has followed up since. Very unprofessional!

This is the most UPROFESONAL rude experience that I have every had when dealing with home health care for my mother! The so called administrator named Mary completely talked over me when I called to ask why no one has shown up for over two weeks. She said that they cancelled the service because they could not come by when THEY wanted, which is completely not true! They never called to say the service was cancelled, and today this woman was so unbelievably rude on the phone that I question is this is even a licensed facility. If you have an elderly love one, Stay Away From This Place! I am filing a complaint with the state of Nevada regarding this place as well as the Nevada Nurses Board! Rude unprofessional staff never on time and lier's. Go anywhere else for you elder care, not this place!
