The care that I received from David (O.T.) plus both Jennifer & Jessica my P.T. after my surgery for a broken femur was beyond excellent. It was obvious that all were very concerned & focused on providing me with all the tools to have a great recovery. I will be forever grateful & cannot praise & thank them enough. I can now walk without a walker or a cane. Forever Grateful Dee!

This review is to sing the praises of Vannessa for all that she has done for my family in the hardest of times. My grandparents were in hospice at the same time and Vanessa showed up with a quiet confidence that put us all at ease. She provided baths for them and helped my grandfather get prepared on his last day. She was invaluable at gently guiding us through things to consider, bravely answering hard questions in his last days. All interactions have been with such love and sensitive care and compassion - she seems to be truly in her calling. She has felt like a part of the family. We are so grateful for Vannessa! She is highly valuable to her team and I hope she is recognized as such! She deserves a raise!!

Advanced Home Hospice CNA, Vannessa, is the most wonderful human being! She is a God Send. My mom looks forward to her visits when she gets all cleaned up, fresh and beautiful. She is great with my mom, who has two forms of dementia and who doesn't always like everyone. She shaved my dad and made him look so handsome when the time was right. Vanessa is someone I hope is appreciated by her employer. I hope she gets some big raises in the near future. She is someone whom, I'm sure, could be stolen away by a competitor. LOVE HER!

I originally posted re Treatment of my father, in Fernley, NV. My father, and my family, had a VERY BAD experience with one of the nurses. Yes, he is a grumpy old man, but he is dying. He has one leg, atrophy (can't sit up in his wheel chair), chronic UTI, MRSA and many more qualifying hospice issues. They discharged him from Hospice. without a Treatment Plan or Discharge Plan. He went from highly medicated to unmedicated. There will be grievances filed and lawyer's consulted. I suggest others do the same. I WOULD LIKE TO STATE THAT THIS PROBLEM HAS BEEN RESOLVED AND MY FATHER, AND FAMILY, ARE ALL VERY HAPPY WITH THIS COMPANY. From our understanding, it was the lack of care of one bad apple. After speaking with Superiors of the company, they worked very hard to get a different nurse out to my dad to reassess him, had a DR on board and his medications filled within 48 hours. We are so thankful for everything they did to remedy this and what ever actions they've taken to assure that this never happens again, at least in regards to the one bad apple. Thank you so very much Advanced. We are all now experiencing much more peace knowing that you are keeping our Father/grandfather comfortable.

Hello everyone; I want to share my experience with Hospice, this family and the special wonderful nurse I watched doing her job caring for someone who was dying and caring for the family too… I am nextdoor to my neighbor Gary and his Mom Nancy, and Gary was having a hard time letting go and stop extraordinary measures for his Mom who was 83. She just came out of the hospital. It had been recommended that he sign up with Hospice. So Gary signed up with Advanced Hospice of Reno for his Mom, because she wanted to be at home. Katie was the nurse who came, also there was another nurse and the chaplain and they visited the last few days and they were very kind too. I prayed with Gary over his Mom yesterday afternoon, and we asked God for clarity for Gary as to what Gary should do and God answered and Nancy went to sleep just after 6 am this morning. Katie was the nurse who came since we live Nextdoor and she was so kind, loving and caring. I went over just after 10 am and while waiting for the mortuary she just gave Gary so much support answered all the questions he had. Told him what would happen when the mortuary came. The mood was kept light as Gary’s Dad was also there. She even turned on some comforting music. We sure could use a lot more nurses like Katie who have such compassion and sympathy for their patients and their families. She took the time to explain things and made sure that they knew she was there for Gary and his Dad. You are a wonderful nurse Katie Heyder and thank you and Advanced Health Hospice for taking care of my friend!
