Referred by Ortho Sports Med., Somersworth, there was a good immediate response from Cornerstone. Is a OWCP Federal Work Comp case billed also to Medicare Part A. When USDOL asked for a signed letter from the Dr. I called Cornerstone today to follow up to see if DOL was satisfied. Three different nurses came by rapid fire for 6 total visits, and by then DOL reversed the initial approval. The skill of the nurses, knowledge and care-they brought over DME but I returned as I have a DOL card for this. The home exercises not well tolerated but by discharge I am ready to get PT/OT in office. The three different nurses all good and I note their comments in their reports. They were pleasant, professional and helpful generating a Barthel Index score. On further investigation it appears both Agencies paid or are eligible but I still need to verify. My new , as of this writing , notice from MEDICARE shows they impose a late penalty on Cornerstone for filing late . OWCP has now denied the claim which is fully appealable to ECAB and correctable-denial centers on requested explanation from Dr. Dirksmeir Seacoast Orthopedics not provided with reasons and relation to the accepted conditions (s). Written appeals are made to the Board in Washington, DC and I have won several, lasting years. Amounts not paid by Medicare have in my experience been covered by OWCP, namely a Chiropractic eval. During my recovery from being homebound I saw Dr. Hsu at DMC Dover and began pain meds which in the past were quite effective in low doses. The resulting OIC was addressed by the Nurse which was part of the needs at the time. I also pivoted treatment to PT at the same DMC office in Dover.

I cannot say enough good things about this team. Britney came the first day my friend came home from surgery. She was awesome and a great comfort to my friend and myself (the caregiver) . Next in came the social worker Jeni who helped set my friend up with the necessary services. Then came the pt person Ruthanne and the ot person Kelly. These ladies were the best! Compassionate, reassuring and on top of everything.. If you have a loved one in need of care and services this Team is outstanding!! Sincerely With great appreciation! Kathy

So many positive comments about the awesome people that have helped my mom over the years, but one recent one really stands out. My mom was falling, alot. Sherran checked her vision, recommended we get her eyes checked. My mom needed a procedure, could barely see our of her left eye, and we're hoping this stops her falls. Thank you Sherran for "seeing" something that we never thought of. And thank you to Verna, Karrenn, Mackenzie and all the others who have been wonderful getting mom back to good health and mobility! I don't know what we'd do without you!

My brother moved into Watson's Field in Dover NH. We chose Corner Stone Hospice as his hospice provider. From day one hospice nurses, social worker and Chaplain services where offered. I would receive updates in appropriate times as his needs changes. He enjoyed his weekly visits with staff and formed a very special connection with nurse Caroline and his chaplain Katie. Although my brother was not a man who practiced a faith he accepted visits by the chaplain as a relationship formed. Katie had such a way with him that allowed him to process spiritually in a creative and caring way. Katie was an amazing support to me as well, helped me navigate very challenging feelings and situations. Her faith and professionalism was superior. Both Katie and Caroline really cared about my brother and shared tears with his passing. The staff did more than a job they connected deeply with him and it made such a difference to him in his ending days. With deep appreciation. Betsey Curtis Hasty

My father received services from Cornerstone for about a year, and unfortunately, the experience was largely disappointing. The quality of care was inconsistent, with frequent failures to communicate about appointments—often without any call to confirm, inform of delays, or notify of no-shows. Reaching a representative to address concerns was nearly impossible. When I finally did, the individual responsible for palliative care was shockingly rude and unprofessional, showing no compassion toward seniors. My 94-year-old father, who was already very ill, grew increasingly frustrated with being ignored and subjected to poor service. After voicing his concerns in one difficult conversation, Cornerstone chose to discharge him from their care—without any notice to either him or me as his healthcare proxy. He was living alone at the time and was suddenly left without essential care. When I inquired about this, I was told they had notified us of the discharge, which was simply not true. Fortunately, we have since transitioned to Wentworth Home Health, whose team has been reliable, compassionate, and a vast improvement in every way. I would strongly caution anyone considering Cornerstone for elderly care to think twice before moving forward.
