I want to say that I have been a nurse for 31 years and 23 years of that a hospice nurse. I love hospice and enjoying helping people during the most difficult time in their lives. But when I was on the other side of the table and it was my mom in need of Hospice care. Compassus was there. Each and everyone of the hospice team helped to make my mom comfortable and enabled her to pass peacefully. I so appreciate Melanie RN Joshua chaplain who read scripture and sang hymns with her. And Griselda who helped to make my life so much easier by providing personal cares for mom. For Monica MSW who helped me get mom’s funeral plans transferred. Without you I don’t know that I could have done it. God bless you Compassus you were there when I needdd you most!

Well my Father is at Clarebridge memory care . I talked to the nurse Cassie before Thankgiving about my father getting his Toe every other day wrapped and put medicine on it , she said she would be there Monday . Well nobody showed all week . I was not notified that it had to be on paper , he now has an infection on his toe , they could of at least called me I would of took care of it my self . I am so upset at how they do business and don't communicate to any one , my father doesn't deserve this what exactly are they getting paid for ? And Thank you Cassie for not telling me you didn't show up and not telling me you needed it in writing to take care of this matter. I am upset he got an infection . I am going to have his doctor refer me back to Harmony they were awsome. There team communicates to one another .

What do you do when you are declared terminal and the nursing home puts you on the curb because your medical insurance runs out? That is what we experienced due to 2024 health reforms phased out Medicaid at 65 yrs old and implementing NM Health Care Marketplace with little public instruction on integration or direction. We were battling lymph node cancer all year. Unprepared for end of life, we did not have any back up plans and Presbyterian Hospital were patient care heros at pulling any and every string available for someone to assist us at our time of need. Id never felt so inept. Then we received a call that a hospice facility i recently reached out to had offered to take on our case pro Bono and carry us through the whole process. This was Compassus. From the first encounter our care team showed exemplary care and attention with such a relaxed and calming demeanor. They helped to take away of the fear of the unknown that plagued us and help focus on the next step with grace and dignity, tending on the comfort aspect of the here and now. Our team was structurally composed of the greatest individuals who together worked as a team, all informed and involved in the roles they played but with the same goals. When we were low on supplies, someone was at our door within an hour. New medications or refills were never waited on or forgotten. I was astounded at the efficiency of their communication as well as their knowledge when questions would arise. They were truly there every step of the way. They saw the changes in his health at each stage and prepared me what to look for and then it happened. There was never a moment Compassus ever let us down. They provided us with top notch care money could never buy and the definition of peace of mind you just will never conceive until you're placed in this helpless situation. They further provided me with bereavement care and furnished us with a grant to assist in putting David to rest. And we did. The resources and friendships I've developed through this experience have encouraged me to be proactive in the community level of development in aging, advocating for better understanding and involvement to make getting older less overwhelming and isolating and to also bring awareness to that no one ought age or die alone. We have to care. Compassus showed me that.

Broken hip and broken arm. Im supposed to have PT and OT. It took several calls to get scheduled. The PT with Shelly was ok. The OT came once in 3 weeks. No phone calls, no schedule. I've called in the morning, no return calls EVER. I called in the afternoon. LM. Melanie called me and said how dare I keep calling and leaving messages. She told me to never call again. I fired Compasses. Melanie never told the PT that Compasses was fired so she showed up for nothing. Zero communication.

I can not express my gratitude enough! Our nurse, Melanie, was so kind and gentle with my abuelo. She took her time and really listened to him. The OT, Ramin, we saw regularly was amazing as well, he was so respectful of not only my abuelo but also our house and pets as well. He took the time to explain everything throughly and make sure it was understood. Trina the head OT made sure everything was going smoothly the whole time. Our speech therapist, Theresa, was so smart and patient. She really took the time to let him solve each problem. PT could have been better.
