This facility needs more help not only that but there kitchen is shut down the city shut it down just incase they didn’t notify anyone what do you bill the insurance for if these people can’t even get a snack when they need one or coffee. People’s loved ones should be ok and be able to enjoy there time here and instead they got a group of mad family members. This facility needs to be shut down until they get the staff that they need to take care of it. And they need to learn how to properly notify their loved ones. I’m very disappointed in this facility.

My Mom stayed at Genesis Uptown for a couple of weeks. The stains care she received was what I expected. She made friends with many of the staff and they were very kind to her. When she left she didn’t have her glasses. The staff helped look for them but they were never found. I talked to Diana G. About the situation. She was very helpful and diligent about following up with me. Even though we couldn’t get my Mom in to the eye doctor to get new glasses for almost two months, Diana was ready to help. She got the new glasses paid for! This lady is a true professional and I really appreciate her!

Unfortunately my grandma had to stay in this place for 2 weeks. Absolutely the worst you can get general care from. She had to stay the first two days without a tv remote. I went and bought one to pair to the tv. Longest response time was an hour in a half. No trash can in her room, again I went and got her one and we changed the bags everyday when visiting.

If I could leave no stars I would. This place is absolutely awful!! My auntie had been staying here for a over a year and as the time progressed her health began declining. Every week my mom would go to visit her and she had soiled sheets, some of her personal items and money went missing, and everytime she would request for assistance from one of the staff members no one was ever available to help her and personally witnessed them sitting there on the phones or chatting while residents were screaming for help. One lady was screaming at the top of her lungs for a total of 45 mins before someone finally approached her then rudely asked "what do you want?" Within the past 2 months my aunt has "fell" over 5 times all to which they stated were not that bad and she was fine. My mom went to go visit and she had a bruised head, bruised cheek, bruised leg, fractured knee, and a bruised arm and hip. She was transported to Presbyterian where they informed her she would be placed on hospice care and that she was in her last days of life. However, now that she is out of their so called care and in a facility where they actually watch her and are compassionate towards her needs shes eating and drinking like normal. Shes happy and feeling better thank God but I seriously wouldnt recommend this place to my worst enemy. Please be careful and watch after your loved ones if they are in this facility. Total joke!!!

My aunt recently completed her stay at Uptown, and I can’t express how grateful we are for the care she received. From the moment she arrived, the staff was attentive, compassionate, and professional. The nurses and therapists treated her with such respect and kindness, it truly felt like she was in good hands. She made amazing progress thanks to the rehab team, who were patient and encouraging every step of the way. They always took the time to explain things clearly and made sure she felt comfortable and safe. The facility was clean and welcoming, my family and I were very happy with Uptown. Thank you !
