For the moment, I’ll give them a two-star rating. They reached out after my parent was discharged to arrange home visits. The caller asked if Saturday was good; I replied, "Yes!" The caller said PT or someone would reach out later to confirm and finalize arrangements. They never did! I followed up Saturday morning; the office is closed on weekends! These are the kinds of situations that irritate me! Now, other arrangements can’t be made because we are unsure if anyone will show up, potentially wasting our time.

Overall, my experience with Americare is great but the pt they gave me was strict. The pt’s name is Jaimini. I had a bad first impression of her because she was already way too strict on the first day. I had a bad feeling about her. On only the first day, she was threatening me with more hard exercise if I did not hold a pencil properly. The way jaimini watched me also scared me and she made me do an exercise way too many times. Another bad thing about jaimini is that she was always late. Very unprofessional (both her personality and timing). When Jaimini was about to come, I said a lot of prayers telling God to make jaimini stop being so strict. I was afraid to tell jaimini if an exercise was hurting me because I thought that she would not care and make me do it more. I had my mom call Americare to give me a new pt now and not send jaimini anymore. Now I am waiting for new pt. I will still give 5 stars because my ot therapist is extremely good!

My grandma is in great hands. It makes such a difference to have a nurse and physical therapist who are reliable and considerate. It’s also nice that they keep in touch ahead of time—it really shows how much they care about their patients’ comfort and well-being.

Horrible, not at all professional. Does not let you know when they are coming, when they come they do absolutely nothing. Both nurses that came gave totally opposite information about blood pressure medication. Physical therapist is lazy and doesn't do anything at all but talk. Huge language barrier even when they are speaking English. They don't answer calls and they never call you back.

Staff is completely unable to support their clients. If you need immediate support don’t expect any of the 10 people who get paid to help to do anything. Every staff member’s purpose is to make money off another person’s disability.
