I am very disappointed with the quality of care provided by the therapist sent to assist my mother. Allow me to be clear and state that this is the second therapist Girling sent because the first therapist was on his phone the entire time and didn't even look up from his phone to help my mother with the exercises. Neither therapist appeared to be properly trained or certified, and communication was extremely difficult. I could barely understand what was being said, which is unacceptable in a healthcare setting. In addition, the therapist’s manner was rushed and the exercises were also rushed and a bit harsh. The approach felt more appropriate for moving furniture than caring for an elderly patient. No patient, especially a senior, should feel hurried, handled brusquely, or uncomfortable during a therapy session. Home healthcare should be compassionate, patient-centered, and professional. I am truly questioning if this therapist was New York state certified. Unfortunately, this experience did not meet those standards. I tried to call Girling to speak with someone during business hours but I continually got an AI receptionist who kept transferring me to a non working extension. Frustrating, disturbing and disappointing are the immediate words that come to mind. When you know better you do better! Girling you failed my Mom!

I've been using their services for around 3 weeks, since I came home from rehab after knee replacement surgery. Everyone from nurses, caseworkers, to Physical Therapist have been professional and pleasant. They always show up. Always follow up, and they detail services I'm entitled to but may not be aware of. I have nothing but good things to say, especially in comparison to other agencies we have dealt with. Girling was recommended by Bensonhurst center for rehabilitation, where I stayed for Rehab.

This home care agency has been really good for my dad. His therapist, Pape, is super patient and really knows what he’s doing. My dad’s been getting better little by little thanks to him. Brian from customer care was also very helpful when we had questions.

I would not recommend this agency. The people who work there are unreliable and incompetent. I am the caregiver for a disabled woman who was recently discharged from the hospital requiring wound care follow-up. At the time of the discharge, this agency incessantly called the patient badgering her for her patronage. A caring nurse came on one occasion to change the dressing and treat the wound. When she was due to return in three days she "ghosted" the patient and refused to return any phone messages apparently deciding that the "difficult" patient was not worth the effort of future nursing services. The agency was contacted and claimed that they had no record of the patient in their system despite the fact that they had already visited and treated her! An unhelpful individual at this agency promised to have someone get back to me to explain the confusion and as to why she was not accepted in their case records as a patient but no one ever bothered to follow-up with the patient or call back.

Physical Therapy from Jay was outstanding! My wife and I have benefited from his excellent service, his patience, and knowledge of the exercises which have resulted in substantial improvement in our mobility and outlook. One thing I would suggest that he remember to call us in advance of appointment day and time and give us a heads up that he's on his way so that we have a few minutes to prepare for his visit. He has excellent bed-side manner!
