You send your loved one here to die. Neglect at a Nursing/Rehab facilities should be a crime punishable by prison. Your loved one will smell like poop. Your loved one will have dirty blood dripping bandages remain on for hours even if you ask nicely to put fresh dressing on. Your loved one will be given medicine that was dropped on a dirty filthy disgusting floor without the blink of an eye. Your loved one will develop mouth sores from contaminated medicine. Your loved one will be denied supplemental oxygen even if it was ordered by the doctor. You will see just about every call bell go unanswered . You will not know who is who because most people working have their badges turned over so they can’t be identified. You will hear over and over again from employees that this place is understaffed. You will witness employees looking to do as little as possible or say that’s not my job. If you complain, less care will be given to your loved one. You are at their mercy. Disgusting how caretakers couldn’t care less. The one positive was the physical therapists and Occupational Therapists were good and they care. But that’s not where your loved one spends most of their time. You will see the response to this post to please contact the family hotline, it’s just a nonsense stock statement

This facility doesn't even deserve any stars. We had past experience with parker and it was good. Our grandmother spent 10 years there and was treated kindly. Now whole different story as I dont know how to express the frustration with this facility. My father passed away a month ago there in what is claimed to be hospice. Hospice to my knowledge is not neglect, it should be comfort and dignity. He received none of that while spending his last time on earth there. Our family trusted he would be looked after and taken care of. What a mistake!!

My father was admitted to Parker Jewish twice in stable condition, and both times his health declined drastically because of poor medical oversight, delayed treatment, and neglect. Providers ignored serious symptoms, refused to examine him, and failed to act until it was too late. Families who tried to advocate were dismissed, and patients were left in unsafe conditions. I want to acknowledge that there are a few nurses and aides that worked hard and showed compassion, but they were clearly unsupported by the medical team and leadership. The lack of accountability and systemic failures here put patients at risk. I would not recommend Parker Jewish to anyone seeking safe, coordinated, or reliable care for their loved one.

Can I give zero stars? Worst care I have ever encountered and I work in skilled nursing facilities. My father went there for rehab following a UTI and came home about a month later with bed wounds, and a hoyer lift. He was discharged without any training on caring for the wound and he’s back in the hospital less than 48 hours later with a fever. No one calls you back. Don’t send your loved ones here unless you are wishing them hell on earth. The speech therapy dept is excellent and caring and responsive. Everyone else who was involved in my father’s care should be fired.

I can’t say enough good things about the Parker Jewish Institute. From the moment I walked in, it was clear that the staff genuinely care about the residents. Every nurse, caregiver, and team member shows incredible patience, kindness, and professionalism. They take the time to truly get to know each resident and provide personalized care that goes above and beyond. The facility itself is always clean, welcoming, and well-maintained, with a warm, atmosphere that puts both residents and their families at ease. The rooms are comfortable, and there are plenty of communal spaces for socializing, activities, or quiet time. What impressed me most was the attention to detail—not just in medical care, but in the little things that make residents feel valued and safe. The staff go out of their way to create a supportive, compassionate environment. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a place where their loved one will be treated with the utmost respect and genuine professional care.
