Truly excellent and compassionate care. My father was brought here by ambulance over the holidays. The ER team quickly took him in and performed a thorough work up with immediate care for his life threatening symptoms. Their team ultimately found metastatic cancer in several of his major organs but never gave up until his body did from the innumerable tumors. We experienced the ER, main hospital, and the ICU. All levels of the hospital and staff were above and beyond what we could have hoped for - attentive, patient, kind, compassionate toward our father and us. All areas of the building were extremely clean. I have no doubt that they did everything possible to save his life. We will continue to choose Peconic.

My mother in law was in this hospital about two months ago. Not only was the stuff great but the rooms were modern and clean. They even had a pull out bed for my brother in law that was able to sleep by her side for four days. She has been moved to two different higher rated nursing homes since and has not found the food standards even comparable to this hospital. Who would have guess that hospital food is good! My aunt said the same thing. I think she said they have her steak. I think the reviews are not great because it was from before they did all the updates or maybe in the height of covid. We would recommend to anyone. We were accidentally referring to it as a hotel by time we were leaving. hahaha

Had the absolute best birthing experience at Peconic Bay. From arrival to discharge - I have zero complaints. The nurses on L&D are absolute angels on earth. They were extremely attentive, and the moment I called for them they were there within one minute. All of the staff was so welcoming, knowledgeable and informative. Everything was explained to me in detail and made me feel very comfortable. I actually wanted to stay an additional night just because the care was so amazing - I wasn’t ready to leave!!! The follow up after the hospital has also been amazing. I’ve received phone calls daily checking in on me and baby. Truly a 10/10 experience all around and can’t wait to have my future children at PBMC!

The ER staff were incredibly thorough, efficient, and kind. I was there overnight getting a ton of tests and always felt that my voice was heard and that they cared. Every single person i encountered was amazing - the doctors, technicians, nurses, and the hard working people that brought me to and from the imaging dept. I didn’t have to wait long for results - as they were immediately uploaded to the app on my phone. Doctors checked in throughout their shifts to provide information and discuss next steps. Honestly - i hope i never have to go to any ER, but if i did - this would be the place to go on the east end. I have deep gratitude and admiration for this hospital and their wonderful staff.

I had a very great experience at this Hospital. I was admitted there from 5/28/23 - 6/2/23 due to a abscess. The meals are awesome and taste great. They also have a pantry room full of snacks. The staff, nurses, and doctors are so nice, laid back and caring. They checked in on me on a regular basis and kept me informed on what was going on with my infection. The maintenance workers also do a great detailed job on keeping the place clean. They also accepted my accommodation for a recliner chair next to my bed in which I really enjoy sitting in during the day. They even wheeled me out into the lobby in my recliner chair, a accommodation that I wanted to complete for years which mentally made me feel so much better after having constant fantasies over it. I have autism and OCD. I highly recommend this hospital for others.
