Intake was great, down hill from there. The nurse that came couldn’t have left faster. Took a picture of supplies I needed and ordered complete opposite and supplies that don’t even apply to me. Did not even follow up with me to let me know the supplies I needed could not be ordered. I reached out to the Supervisor and had to call twice and leave two messages before eventually getting a call back. The Supervisor called back and made several excuses for the Nurse who made the order and said it would be fine. I explained that these supplies do not work for me. He tried to say that the supplies are interchangeable. I said that was not true. Certain products work for me and I need those. The supervisor said he couldn’t get them. I said I would need to find a visiting nurse that can get me the supplies I needed. Poor patient interaction or support.

Nurses and Social Worker don't advocate for the patient. Seems as though they'd rather protect their profits than deliver compassionate care to treat underlying causes of pain. Then you have Senior Aide Anja who shows up with the stench of alcohol on her breath and speaks negatively in front of the patient as if the patient is hearing impaired. Unbelievable!

I was receiving infusions from these guys my nurses name was angela for almost 2 years. During that time my appointments where scheduled and she’d show 30 minutes after they where scheduled the finally 2 months ago my port was loaded with blood clots and would not work so she said if I didn’t keep it I could do subcutaneous injections or clinic because it’s hard to do Iv on me well I got the port pulled and the following month they discharged me because I was at work and couldn’t contact them being I work with cameras they never notified me till I tried to get my infusion then they made look like it was my fault to my dr.

3 nurses assigned in 12 hrs, because of scheduler disorganization. Not helpful to the stress level of the patient. Lab order overlooked. Team chewed out by MDs. Not helpful to the health or stress level of the patient. Critical medical supply order filled out, then sat on for 2 days. Order still not fulfilled! DEFINITELY not helpful to the discomfort, healing, and stress level of the patient. Out of 3 homecare agencies experienced or observed, UR Homecare underperforms the most. Not going back into the hospital to be UR's warehoused cash cow. When it comes to labor strikes or patient care, patient care is priority. Concentrate! Addendum: By discharge day, the ancillary items needed to MAINTAIN the health and welfare of the patient had still not been procured (under govt mandates)by the agency. The patient and Better Half, had to hunt those supplies on their own. This will be addressed to outside agencies on Monday.

I experienced the best home hospice care for my husband prior to his passing in September. The staff were exceptional....Jill (social worker), Miles (nurse), along with chaplain, guided us through a very difficult process. They all were highly professional and deeply committed to their work. My family and I have the greatest respect and gratitude for the entire team!
