I just completed my at home physical therapy program, recovering from a broken leg. Physical therapist Steve Danbroso was very attentive to how to design an effective program just for me. Steve’s communication was transparent and informative. I always felt I was working toward my physical goals. I would recommend VNS Westchester especially Steve Danbroso.

I had the chance to work with one of the intake referral coordinators at Visiting Nurse Services in Westchester, Inc., Ms. Whitney Johnson Ng. I must say, nearly every patient I’ve referred who had the opportunity to speak with Whitney has expressed their satisfaction—many even calling her a true “rockstar.” Her professionalism, kindness, and remarkable attention to detail are a clear reflection of how reliable and patient-focused this company is. Based on my experience and the feedback from patients, I would highly recommend Visiting Nurse Services in Westchester, Inc. to anyone in need of high-quality home health care support.

if you want people judging and causing trouble for you and your family do yourself a favor and DO NOT bother with them. My fiancé was in the hospital for two months fighting for his life with septic shock and as soon as he gets home he needs a nurse for his ostomy etc, well the nurses *Claudia and Pamela* got him landed back in the hospital for another month due to not knowing how to do an ostomy bag correctly he had severe burns on top of that one of the ladies caused trouble and called cps because my house was a bit messy due to being in and out of the hospital and icu everyday barely being home until he got home. while my son was staying downstairs with his grandparents because we have a two story house mind you she knew that, when your patients have it hard enough and you go and make assumptions like neglect and me supposedly not being supportive of my fiancé when you've been here for a total of 3 days is seriously unacceptable. i usually stay out of the way of nurses so they can obviously do there job and not have anyone in their way. felt like a weird smeer campaign.. you guys have to hire better people. mind you when we tried to complain to a head supervisor about them we never got a call back come to find out my fiancé can't get nurses from them anymore? interesting. i can't even believe someone would go out of there way to do all of that and even say weird comments about me when you guys rarely saw me. My fiancé was extremely uncomfortable, he's even got nurses in the past from them and they were all extremely weird. 0/10 would never recommend.

During the process of arranging VNS (Visiting Nurse Services) for my mother, who required physical and occupational therapy, we diligently followed all the necessary steps to ensure everything was in order. This included completing the full intake process, gathering all required documentation from her referring physician, and even having the doctor fill out the extensive referral form. After submitting everything via fax and waiting patiently, we were shocked to receive a call a week and a half later informing us that VNS had no availability and that we should instead contact Fox Rehab for services. This situation is completely unacceptable. It is incredibly frustrating and disappointing that VNS would allow us to go through the entire time-consuming and detailed process—only to inform us afterward that they could not accommodate my mother’s needs and would need to refer us to an outside agency. What makes this even more aggravating is the fact that VNS must have been aware of their availability (or lack thereof) before we even began the process. They should have communicated this upfront, rather than wasting our time and energy. This lack of transparency and consideration is not only unprofessional but also deeply disappointing, especially when dealing with something as important as my mother’s healthcare. It reflects poorly on their organization and leaves me with a sense of frustration and distrust in their services. This kind of experience should not happen, particularly when families are relying on these services for the well-being of their loved ones.

My mother in law fell and needed a home safety evaluation. Visiting Nurse Services provided that and much more, from the great intake team to the staff in the home. They did all they could to get her back on her feet and to stay safely at home. Therapists Kim Powers, PT, Julia,OT, and Louise, HHA, were all caring and very competent in their roles. They provided clear instructions and discharge planning.I would recommend this agency to anyone who needs home care.
