My doctor gave them the order over a week ago and no one has come out to my home to assist me yet. I had a major surgery on my leg on the 21st, and I'm unable to get around without assistance and no one has followed up or visited me at all. I also called them the day after surgery, and still no one has set up a time, nor arrived to check on me. I am reaching out to my insurance company to find another company that provides service, and I'll update my surgeon to let them know this facility did not follow through. I would not recommend them to anyone going forward.

We were eating at Subway and our dog was sitting outside with us. A large bald man who works at UNC HOME HEALTH came by and uttered obscenities because the dog was unleashed. Natually we won't ever go to UNC HOME HEALTH, nor recommend it to anyone.

Problems with not coming within time range, giving same exercises over and over, not caring about pain management when exercising, over lapping times of therapists, not considering patient's time. Pluses is therapists know their exercises but sometimes show bad attitude towards patient's property and feelings.

I had the pleasure of meeting Mr.Steven Evans,O.T. with UNC Home Health on Sat.Sept.5th.He came out to evaluate my mother,Nannie L.McAdams at 160 Torain St. Hillsborough,N.C. Very nice, intelligent, and thorough with me and my 93 yr.old mom.We went over things that she could and couldn't do.I was taught how to place soft materials around a wound break down, without pressure being placed on the wound itself. That has really helped in her healing process."Thank You Steve." I just want someone to know, what a GREAT Occupational Therapist you have working for UNC Home Health. And being a retired Orthopedic/Trauma Nurse from UNC Hospitals,I could tell he knew what he was doing.Thank You Very Much. Ms.Richmond.
