YOU -Amy- and your company are such a blessing to our office, our patients, our neighbors, our family, our community - ALL of Beaufort County!! Thank you doesn't begin to express our hearts for you all!! You took the time - on a Saturday at that- when I called and left a message of a change in status of a loved one . That meant so much to a scared family who didn’t know what to do. We were so thankful she was able to admitted for services ASAP. Blessings to all of you at Gentiva Hospice of Washington, NC!!

I wanted to thank Gentiva Hospice for the kindness they showed our family and my daddy on January 24, 2025. Demaris and Victoria went above and beyond in a difficult situation. These two nurses braved a five mile road covered in ice in order to help me get my daddy home so he could be in his own bed around his family. The entire company began the process and quickly got transport and Clark's Medical there so everything was in place for our family and we could give daddy what he needed. Inner Banks Transport of Williamston was gentle and caring while moving daddy and Ervin and Allen allowed my brother to ride up front during that drive on those icy roads. Robert of Clark's Medical had oxygen and suction there before transport arrived. Without all of these companies, we would not have been able to give daddy the honor and dignity of a life well lived while he passed from this life to the next. Gentiva Hospice, Clark's Medical, and Inner Banks Transport allowed my mama to be by daddy's side, as she had been for 67 years, and my brother and I to hold daddy's hand and kiss his head as he took his last breath. Thank you is not adequate but, that is all I have. Thank you, thank you, thank you.

I cannot find the words to express how thankful we were to have Gentiva assist us as our mother declined. From the first interview with Amy Brewer to assessment by nurse, the chaplain stopping by, social worker, Ms Velva gently giving person care to our mom. I apologize in advance because I’m sure I’ll miss some names, but want to recognize Brandy, Erin O’Kane, and Elizabeth. Such a weight was lifted when we realized they were there to make Mama’s last days as peaceful as possible. Their concern for all of us was so comforting. If you’re considering hospice for a loved one, please please choose Gentiva. Angels all of them. We will always be grateful.

I can not begin to express my gratitude for the care given to my mama by Gentiva! Gentiva’s personnel is to be commended for their support, care and love of my family and me during my mama’s illness. They helped us understand what was happening and what was going to happen as my mom’s health declined. I want to thank Amy Brewer, Erin, Velva, Elizabeth and Brandy for their compassionate care.

If i could give 100 stars i would. Everyone from Gentiva was amazing. Granny was cared for and treated just like family. Starting with Amy Brewer and her expertise, Velva who showed us so much love, Elizabeth for coming out to us and being so honest and advising us on things to look for. Brandy for giving my Granny dignity and preparing her for the funeral home. Also for the follow up checking on us even weeks later. I also want to say i appreciate the care for my husbands Aunt in January
