I have read all the reviews and I guess they are what was experienced. my mother is 96 and has been with wellcare for about two years for physical therapy and weekly nurse visits. everyone has been nice and I have sat through several visits with her. not until today have I seen a wellcare nurse who is a real nurse, not a visiting stats taker. this nurse Romanta spent so much time attending to my mother's needs, so far above and beyond anything anyone else has ever done. my mother just got out of the hospital and has issues she didn't have before. the kindness, patience, empathy and care she gave was so outstanding I had to leave this review. she is Top Notch in every way! If she is still around (because she mentioned relocating) Ask For Her if you can. I hope this review will help her in her professional career as she deserves it. on top of everything, after she texted me confirming our appointment two days ago, I texted her back with a situation I was having with my mother. she offered to come by and help me that day after her work day was over, with no appointment! she is an angel and someone who cares even beyond their profession. she was what this exhausted,overwhelmed, and desperate caregiver needed today. I cannot thank her enough!

I shouldn’t have to leave a review because seeing that there are more 1 stars than 5 stars says it all. But my mother had to use them as home healthcare, but they only came out three times. They dropped her for insurance purposes but they never informed us, the three times that they did come out it was the same nurse who was late each time. The nurse that came out each time also had VERY poor communication with my mother, my mother would repeatedly call and text her nurse for hours but the nurse would never call or text back to inform us of her arrival time or if she was coming at all. The nurse also lacked bedside manners.

I had excellent post-op care after my knee replacement from Well Care! They were very thorough with my medical background and needs and gave me new exercises to improve my mobility. I had a wonderful "nurse", Brooks, who was so pleasant and spurred me on. I also received excellent care from Nicole, on my first and last visit. I felt all my needs were met with Well Care and I've now progressed to outpatient therapy with good "scores" thanks to Well Care's care.

They were not professional in the care of my mother. The nurses only took vitals when they visited not useful things such as medication reconciliation. The let insurance authorization expire without following up causing a 3 week break in care for my mom. PT didn't know the MD's orders before showing up. I could go on and on. Never again will my family use these people.
