(Edit) BEWARE. My mother uses this company for an aide. Her aide has been reported multiple times for sleeping on the job also playing on her phone consistently. She has yet to be reprimanded for this. I have called several times about this aid and the company went and taddled on me about making a complaint. The aid constantly sleeps on the job and is always always playing on the phone. This company does everything in their power to protect their employees even if it's at the clients and or clients family.

My experience with BlackStone has been a lifesaver for me. My husband has been in and out of the hospital since June. The encouragement and support we receive from Angel Day (Executive Director) and the staff on her team has made it possible for him to stay in his home and out of the hospital. It has been a rough road for my husband but we are so grateful that BlackStone is helping us navigate through this difficult time

Having many friends who are seniors like myself, I find it very comforting to know Black Stone Home Care is there for us whenever we need them. They take pride in giving us the best care possible. They make us feel like we are a part of their family with the care and compassion they give us. Some of us don’t have many family left so this means a lot to us. * Repost of review I made this review earlier. My review stated that Blackstone was a poor company, and they flagged it, and had it removed. I will continue to post this as many times as I have to. Your removal is wrong! On so many levels. REVIEW: My experience with Home Care by Blackstone started out very nicely. I was contacted in advance by, and I was met at my then later As according to our schedules at my home by a nurse named Elizabeth. Elizabeth was great. She was kind, considerate, thoughtful, thorough, and helpful. The only downside to that visit is that she seemed to be rushing through her time with me like crazy. Like she had to see a million people still, and only had a half a hour to do so. Then she left, and that was it. I have since had a couple phone interactions with Elizabeth where she was pleasant the first time she still was helpful. The next: Well it's multiple days later, and I am still waiting for her call back about some things. The one time before that we spoke briefly, and she did not have significant correct medical infromation about me, and not sure she was even going to seek it out. I don't doubt her knowledge about something else tyat was happening with me. I believe that she was possibly at another clients home, and was severly distracted, and probably rushing through them to. So she could not pay complete attention to our call. A medical event happened this week (not a life or death thing). It was after business hours, so I contacted the offices number which is staffed after hours. The female " that answered the phone was rather gruff, and kinda jabby because she didn't know about me or who I was. Stated that she hasn't heard about me. That I must be new. After a harsh moment of questions. I had needed a emergency room visit, for a nesscary procedure. They failed to disclose this to me. Had I not ended up contacting my doctors office myself, I would have not known. This procedure is still not done yet, with partial blame of Blackstone's care, and lack. A random nurse Kati contacted me once - when I am supposed to being contacted everyday. This has Not happened. Kati then called a few days later. Very abrupt, and with a additude as such. Her words were mostly nice, but the tone behind it was harsh, and a were doing it this was etc... After telling Kati that she couldn't come to my home the next day (as it was the evening before). I said my schedule is not open then. To choose another time. She then still tried to push herself into my schedule after I told her that more than once. I was quite frustrated. She then states "how about I come see you at ..." I was frustrated, and said fine. That was that convo. She was supposed to call before she came the next day. I was still over busy with my already busy schedule that day. I had to call her, it was less than a hour before she was supposed to be there. I called, she did not answer. I left a voicemail stating that tome was not working. She texts me about 20 minutes later stating that she received my message, and someone else would see me the next day. Well here it is the next day. Not one person has been to my home. I have taken appropriate time from my day for this to happen. I set aside my schedule for them again! Here is late evening of the day that another nurse was supposed to come to my home, and I am getting a call from Stephanie RN saying oh I'm coming to see you tomorrow. I said no your not, I'm unavailable, you can come...... then vented my issues quickly. Told her she can come .... She did not state or agree to a time/schedule. But did tell me she was going to take my problem with them to the supervisors. I am not holding my breath. So here I am still not getting nesscary adequate needed medical care because they can not get themselves together. I really had high hopes with this company, jus thg from my fist im interaction with them. But that is shattered. Please go somewhere else for care You may want to work somewhere else to, they don't seem to ne together

By far the worst company ever! The Home Health Aide Scheduler is a joke! Never returns calls and when she does she still has no staff to fill the needs of the patients. The staff is unreliable, never shows up, if they do they don't do their job! Worst company ever
