NCR is a slumlord! They own Westminster Tower in Kenner, LA, and they've left its residents in dire straights. As of this afternoon the building has been without power for 5 days. Seniors with mobility issues have been trapped on the upper floors sweating in the heat. The City had to bring in cooling equipment and offer hotel stays to the residents capable of leaving their units. Management offered no assistance and has been unreachable for most residents. NCR hung up on a local news station when they attempted to reach out for comment. NCR also scrubbed the Westminster Tower property from its website as soon as the story became public.

I live at Grand Place Apartments in Dayton and the building is filthy, the yard around is filthy, the manager says that corporate office REFUSES to pay for anyone to clean and it not her job or Cliffs that if we want clean for us, residents to do it. The manager is a racist and as I am Native American and married to a Hispanic man she has REFUSED us air-conditioning all summer even though all of our neighbors who were african american have it. Nobody should have to pay her under the table for being the wrong color. My husband has had 3 heat strokes which has made me late with rent but always pay and when I told her this month I was broke, I couldnt afford another heat stroke but rent would be paid by end of month like always she filed for eviction. I have asked for supervisor but that never happens. If she goes through with this eviction i will call fair housing, dept of aging, anerican civil liberties, and hud and see how they take her being a racist and let her pay the 650000 in hospital bills and 35400 in ambulance bills that insurance wont pay because said senior apartment lease says comes with central air. I just want a clean place to live and I offered to clean and have taken off rent even and she refused. I am double amputee, the last heat stroke caused permanet brain damage in my husband and I just need a real manager that treats all the same and doesnt care about linig pockets and doesn't just sit in office with cliff and talk.

The building is FILTHY!! The rent has been raised, but we can't get the floors moped, leaking ceilings repaired, washer and dryer repaired ( out of order for 2+ years), dog pooh in stairwells and on lawn ( what an odor in 90 degree weather and with 5 dogs on the floor it smells like a KENNEL! The building and area managers are RUDE AND DISRESPECTFUL! I recently received a grant for rent to prevent eviction. The funds covered rent through July 2025. I paid rent from January 2025 through May 2025 ALSO.. l was informed legal fees had to be paid, however they refuse to put any thing any writing. No notice of rent increase, legal fees, NOTHING. I can't get a phone call without an attitude!!!

UPDATE : this company made it right and got my mother into a place!!! My mother finally got a call from your apartment in beavercreek Ohio to come look at an apartment after being on the waiting list for over a year. She did a tour and was waiting on a call back to complete move in paper work. I thought something was off because it took over 3 weeks for her to get a call to come back and do paper work. Finally she went in to complete the move in paper work. After she got there an employee named heather told my mom that she lost my mom's application and my mom had to go back on the waiting list. To say my mom was devastated is an understatement. She broke down in tears right in the women's office. Heather was supposed to to call her back Monday and give her an update. Here it is Wednesday and no call. This is terrible and my heart is broken for my mom.

I lived at Quarry Ridge in Massillon, Ohio for 10 years. At first it was very nice, we had activities like bingo, monthly dinners, and entertainment. When the present manager came, Jerry Nothingham all things changed, no activities were allowed to take place after she left for the day. We were harassed for things. I moved I November of 2024 and she said if I didn't give 30 days notice she would have to keep my deposit which was $167.00. BUT she sent me a letter saying the charges were $496 and she would be keeping my pet deposit also !!! I contacted HUD and they helped me get back my pet deposit.. SO IF YOU ARE HAVING PROBLEMS CALL HUD!!! THEY WILL FIGHT FOR FAIRNESS AND HELP YOU !!!!
