I went to the ER because I was on oxygen and was still gasping for air. My portable tank had a 1/2 hr of oxygen left and I was still sitting there! I went to the desk and told them I was running out of my oxygen and if they couldn't get me in I would have to leave. She told me she was sorry and she would let them know I left!!??!!?? This was not the first time my wait was hours!

The ER Dr was great, I forget her name. I had no assessment done by the 2 nurses I had for the 20 hours I was in ER. I had no food for 20 hours (I was waiting on a bed upstairs and was allowed to eat) I was transferred finally to my room on Stepdown. The care I received there was seriously the best. They actually checked on me, fed me, helped relieve my pain etc. all the things the ER staff ignored. If the ER did a better job I think the hospital wouldn’t get such a bad rap.

If I could give a negative review I would. The staff were all rude and unresponsive to questions and concerns during my stay. They blame everything on “out sourcing” like result timing, cleaning problems, scans and xrays. They said a normal result time on a chest xray is upwards of 10 hours. They gave me a USED blanket covered in someone else’s SNOT, BLOOD, and other weird stains… THEY ACTED LIKE IT WAS NORMAL WHEN I TOLD THEM AND SHOWED THEM PICTURES. This place is beyond disgusting. The cleaner came in my room and picked up trash by hand and barely wiped down used surfaces. DO NOT GO HERE.

If you plan on coming to this er expect to sit and wait. This place either needs to expand there bed capacity or build a bigger hospital. This place is ridiculous on wait times you will sit in the lobby for hrs before anything happens. Come on Cleveland clinic get it together it's 2026 not 1800's. Long wait times hours and hours it's terrible!!!

I mean, for those of us who have grown up around here know this hospital is sorta like a storage room. No one knows why it’s here and mostly local yokels work here. Sorta like an afterthought. Why this hospital is still here I’ll never know. They don’t really care about you. Nurses on their phones when patients need help. I would go 30 min north to other hospitals. I’ve been here countless times and it’s always minor. Some are good (very rare) some are bad and unfriendly. Question for doctors and nurses. WHY DID YOU GET INTO THIS PROFESSION IF YOU DON’T LIKE PEOPLE?? We are literally your job. People don’t feel good, the last thing they want to hear is judgement. A lot of them act prissy and don’t want to actually do any work. You can tell.
