When I was discharged from the hospital it was recommended that I have short term home health care. Not knowing what to expect, I was pleasantly surprised at how well they knew my needs. Ericka was my nurse and Chase was my physical therapist. Both were very knowledgeable and caring. They were very thorough explaining everything to me. If anyone ever needs a home health care company, I would definitely recommend Med1Care.

Patty was my husband's home health speech therapist after his brain stroke in May. He was barely able to talk had very little air support and could not swallow. Patty even helped with scheduling with the laryngitis specialist to get him in sooner for the help he needed with his voice, air support and swallowing. She has been very envolved and proactive for us. I am pleased to say with all her help he is now able to swallow at a level 6(soft, small bites), has air support for around 12 secs consistently, and has voice with different ranges and pitches. Unfortunately we are at that point in recovery when he will transition to out patient care and Patty will no longer be able to be his speech therapist. If we could keep her for the rest of his recovery we definitely would. She is also given us recommendations for an out patient ST. We can never thank her enough for all her help!!!!

We used this company at the beginning of the year to help my mom after surgery and they did an amazing job. We just used them again for my father in law and have been really impressed. He was very reluctant to start his therapy after surgery and they have been so kind, encouraging and informative with showing him what to expect and how it is helping him. He looks forward to his visits now and is making really quick progress. They know exactly how to push him without doing too much and he is feeling so much better about getting back to normal. Professionals visited my home regularly for 8 weeeks. I was treated with kindness and respect. My physical therapy sessions were with Kaleb who was an excellent trainer. I also had occupational therapy sessions with McKenzie which were very helpful. Nursing was handled primarily by Lucas. He was a delightful addition to my care.

Med1Care is such a great place to work for! You get to pick your own schedule around your life and family needs! Working here is truly like a second family and if you need time off or help with anything they do what they can with helping you! Ive worked with them for almost 3 years and wouldn't want to work anywhere else!
