I am very concerned about the level of service provided by Always Best Care in Grafton. My experience with this agency has been extremely unorganized and frustrating. Despite their claims of reaching out to schedule, staff did not show up, and I was later told that my parent had “missed” visits that were never confirmed in the first place. This raises serious concerns about whether appointments are being inaccurately recorded—or even billed—when services are not provided. When I attempted to address these issues, they were resolved briefly, but new problems continued to arise. Each time I raised concerns, I was met with defensiveness rather than accountability. While the staff present themselves as offering top-quality care, my experience was the opposite: disorganized communication, lack of professionalism, and no follow-through. For families who depend on consistency and integrity in caregiving services, this is unacceptable. I strongly encourage others to exercise caution when considering this agency. Professionalism, transparency, and reliability are essential in home care, and unfortunately, I did not experience any of those qualities with Always Best Care in Grafton.

I had left a one star review a few months back and had a conversation with someone in the office over the phone who addressed my concerns about miscommunication with the office because my nurse went on vacation which I was notified about but I wasn't notified by the office that I would be seen on the day after a day I typically had a visit. The other concern was I had an issue come up but with my nurse on vacation I didn't know who to contact. Both of those issues were resolved. This one star review comes after being discharged from Always Best Care. On 11-4-24 I was discharged. As with start of care and recertification an RN has to come out to the home to do the discharge. The RN had trusted the LPN who had been coming out to my home on a weekly basis to have ordered and left me with enough supplies so that I could adequately care for my wound. Well, sadly that wasn't the case. I was only left with enough supplies to do two days worth of dressing changes. I am now having to wait for supplies that were ordered through Harmony Cares. I was told by the individual in the office to remove my initial one star review and that Always Best Care strives for five star reviews. Well, you didn't earn one from me. Here is my suggestion, especially if you guys strive for five star reviews, if an LPN isn't able to order supplies for patients send out an RN to order supplies. That should be done on an at the very least monthly basis and it should be something done automatically because the nurses know when a patient is almost out of supplies and a patient should never have to say anything especially when your agency is doing the dressing change.

My father is elderly…this causes him to be confused and senile which is partly why he was referred to them for home healthcare. They refused to schedule him because he “hung up on them” lol he can barely figure out how to use his phone half the time. They supposedly tried to go to him anyway and said he wouldn’t open the door? If he had never set it up with them since he “hung up” he probably wouldn’t answer the door because he is not expecting anyone and has a very hard time walking. Pretty heartless company who clearly don’t understand elderly people can get confused etc. we only went with them because they were assigned from the nursing home he was staying in. We are happy with university hospitals home health as they are much more compassionate and understanding of his medical issues which include being agitate or confused etc as his mental faculties have declined a bit. Would recommended a more caring company with more knowledge about the elderly. Instead of calling anyone listed as a contact person to try to set something up they just decided to remove someone obviously in need of care from their referrals. Luckily he is OK. Horrible company.

This was the first time we had tried in home care for my mom. They made an experience I was nervous about, a huge relief for my family. Setting up the care was easy and I knew from their knowledge that my mom was in good hands. We received amazing care from the nurses, communication was easy so we knew what was going on at all times and everyone was so friendly. I will use them anytime the need arises for vacations or just a caregiver break.

The entire staff helped tremendously with my father's care. Jim is certified in Alzheimer's and dementia care and took the time to sit with our entire family a provided a great deal of information, knowledge and tips on care as this is so overwhelming. Helped get us connected with the VA, as dad was a vet and also provided other community resources to lend assistance. Aides who care for dad are truly a blessing and mom is much less stressed. Highly recommend-they're GREAT!
