The most horrible home health experience with the exception of Physical Therapists Brian and Dave. They ask what you want out of their service and your goals and totally disregard everything. Occupational therapy is a scam. No exercises given, was told that the 2 showers i received was therapy. Was told I had another shower coming last week. Never happened. No scheduled appointments. They call the day before or that day and say what time they want to come. If you have prior appointments or commitments they actually count that as you canceling the appointment. It's a money grab scam.

When you're homebound, you don't get to choose your caregiver. It is assigned based on your zip code. I was assigned a nurse practitioner who took notes throughout the visit but never discussed with me what she was going to order. I told her that I didn't want a certain medication, guess what it's prescribed anyway. I had to jump through the hoops to cancel it with my insurance. Then a blood draw is ordered without notifying me — I canceled it as well. I think I'm going to cancel the entire program because I don't like the way it's delivered. I still have a right to participate in my care plan and I do have a right to refuse certain treatments. However my rights are largely ignored. I was concerned about food delivery at home and this issue was never addressed. So I'm back to square one.

staff has been compassionate to my husband and myself . I have problems with my hands locking and shooting pain. They adjusted IV tubing setup so I could handle flow better.

All of the home care nurses that have visited. My wife have been very good with the exception of April who visited us on May 19. She was supposed to follow up on a potential wound issue and did not return any calls for the two days following. After finally connecting with her, she apologized for not getting back, but said she was off yesterday. It is totally unacceptable for a nurse to not follow up on the potential for wound infection.

CC homecare is horrible. I have tried for 6 months to get Cpap supplies that I have used for twenty years! They did not respond to online orders, and when I talked to them they said I needed a doctors appointment which I proceeded to get, then they said I needed insurance approval. I called my insurance company and they said I didn’t need approval so I called them back and they said I did need approval. I explained five times that the insurance company said that I didn’t. The agent said I was “misinformed”. I asked to speak to a manager and was told they would call me back in two days. They are awful. The entire Cleveland Clinic system is out of control!
