I have mostly dealt with healthcare workers from the Summa Akron location. Liz who has been the most repeat nurse coming for my wound care is exceptional. I recently had a wound vac installed and her expertise changing the dressing has been nothing but wonderful. She is a very caring and contentious individual. As for the administrative portion of this company I find it less than stellar. Communications are very hit and miss. When directed to call for help you get a recording telling them they will be back to you shortly but if it over a weekend forget it. So sad because the workers seem so very dedicated.

I can't say enough about the exceptional care that Alternate Solutions Health Network has provided for my Grandma. From the very first interaction, the staff made us feel comfortable, supported, and truly understood our concerns. They took the time to listen to both my Grandma and our family, customizing a care plan that suited her unique needs. The caregivers are professional, compassionate, and always go above and beyond to ensure that my Grandma feels safe and comfortable. Shameful, rude, rushed, disrespectful unfriendly, and unprofessional behavior. Neglected basic safety needs i.e. mask and taking shoes off when entering. Demonstrates an enormous lack of empathy or respect towards me. Caregivers seemingly did not receive proper training or experience to meet my specific needs. Being treated with a fall vs a fractured pelvic left me in horrific pain for a couple of days, with no followup call leaving me feeling neglected. Cancels appointment at the last minute or calling the night before to make appointment for the next day which causes significant disruption to my family's schedule. Making comments about how far they have to travel and "if it snowed, they would not have come out". Mind you, it's a forty five minute, at the most drive. Supervisor cancelled at the last minute because, as the social worker stated, "it was too far for her". The appointment was for 4:30...she calls and cancels at 4:28pm. After a traumatic car accident, this company only added to my emotional turmoil.

I want to express my wonderful experience . Jerome was so kind and thoughtful when he delivered the bed, wheelchair, bed tray to us . Jerome set up the hospital bed with care.
