This is part of the veteran program and is paid by the VA. Nothing is consistent. Not since the first aide that left several months ago. Issues we've had with aides: sending different aides all the time. No call no shows. Sitting on their phones instead of what they're at the foster care home for. Sending aides that have no clue as to what is going on. Aides changing times to accommodate themselves without any regard to the veterans or their caregivers schedules. My father is an early riser. Always had someone come in of morning for almost 1 1/2 years on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays to do his showers and etc. The schedule changes all of a sudden to 12-1PM. No one wants to sit there a good bit of the day waiting for their shower when they've been up since 5-6AM. Especially when there was an agreement on the time before and you're now expected to completely accommodate them. Recently an aide filled out paperwork that they were at the foster care home on a particular day. It was a no call no show. The caregiver of the foster care home called the company and spoke with Bobbi. They had no idea no one showed up. Absolutely no oversight or communication. The owner apparently didn't do a thing. Insult to injury, this supposedly a veteran owned company. Then there's several complaints from aides about them not getting paid for their work. Or checks being messed up. I didn't think too much about it before. But when there's been several that have said the same thing, there's something to it. I don't know what kind of games they are playing, but it's totally unprofessional. While some of the aides have been sub par, I imagine with a company with this many issues.....you can't attract or keep the good ones.
