Amanda the nurse was very experienced in wound care and was very professional. She did a great job taking care of my wife. She was concerned about her care and showed through her communication and care. We have had 2 other Home health care companies in the past. Community mercy health is by far the best. I am very grateful we found them. Thanks for being awesome company and caring so much for your patience.

Physical therapist tore a muscle in my mother's knee following her knee replacement which resulted in a fall and a broken wrist. My mother told the therapist that she was being too aggressive and causing her pain, but the therapist did not listen. This injury was the direct cause for a chain of events that eventually led to my mother being a nursing home without the ability to walk.

My complaint is that they did not listen. I tried to tell the nurses and the people on the phone up to and including the man in charge....I tried to tell them Gladys wasn't eating, had found a way to get pills out of her pill machine dispenser which could kill her.....I tried to tell them Gladys was past home care and needed much more than home care....She had COPD and not much of her lungs left, but other problems....Well, they just didn't listen and they got mad at me. They didn't listen and they got mad at me on Dec 3rd. The nurse came out Dec 4th and said she was OK. Gladys was dead a few hours after the nurse left. ....Now I am thankful for the 11 months they came out, longer due to the pill dispenser. ...But they need to listen to the people at home that are with the patient 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. By not listening, well, the nurse who had just seen her said she could not believe Gladys was dead. This shows they were NOT listening to me, from the head man down to the lowest worker on staff. .....They were very good at first, but they need to understand home care reaches a point where it ,must switch to nursing home or hospice. Gladys dying after nurse said she was OK shows that...They would not listen to me....So Gladys Smith died Dec 5th, 2015. The love of my life for 20 years until death we did part. I told everybody I had no doctor or medical training. They DID NOT LISTEN....That is their problem, they talk but they do not listen.....Kevin W Kelly.
