I’ve had Home Health through Integris for my father and I’m gonna tell you one thing Mercy by far, does a better job. My daughter was a nurse and she worked with different agencies and had a full-time job on top of that and so she got to know each agency what their billing practices were and everything like that but she said mom they’re good if you need anything you can call them and they’ll get it done as far as Integris while they left my daughter with a really crappy hospice bed to sit there and take care of her father and my daughter slept on the couch waking up every two hours to turn him and make sure his skin stayed good and he didn’t develop any bedsores and it was rough but she did it but then my daughter’s top but she doesn’t have a lot of good things to say about Integris. In fact, she had to go to the doctor with her father and she asked the physician to explain what a DNR was for her father. That physician actually almost refused till my daughter said you have the MD behind your name and it’s your job to explain it to him because you’re his doctor and trust you

Wow, where does one begin. For the past two weeks I have been trying to arrange with Mercy Home Health group physical therapy, a nurses aid, occupational therapy, and nurse for our mother. Unfortunately, the Mercy Home Health staff consistently no shows no calls (4 times in less than a week), the supervisory staff shifts blame, and unkept promises of return calls. Our mother has been without the care the case worker, her family, and her doctors agreed she needs. This is not the first time our family has needed home health, but it is the worst experience and care any family member has received. We strongly encourage any readers, for the health and safety of your family, choose another home health organization. There are several groups that provide a quality experience, but not Mercy Home Health!

We used Mercy in-hospital hospice for my mothers final days. It was the best decision ever! I have no experience with in home health or in home hospice but if you are given the option of in hospital hospice, do not hesitate. We were given a suite (not always available) that made the stay comfortable not only for our mother but for the family as well.

We went to Mercy's emergency room (on a Tuesday) when my dad fell. The ER doctor said he was going to have mercy home health contact us. The following Monday we went to dad's doctor (Mercy clinic in Edmond) who also said they'd put in an order with Mercy Home Health since we had not heard anything. After (my dad falling two more times and) several calls the following week to the doctor and Mercy's main office we gave up. He's been getting physical therapy from Carter Heath for a month now...and Mercy Home Health just called. There's a serious problem somewhere in Mercy (and I don't think it was the ER or the doctor's office).

This last experience has been far below our first experience. In our first seven visits there were seven different nurses. We also asked for specific extra dressing pads and never able to get what we needed including a promise to drop them by over the weekend that did not happen. Plus plans for visits that did not occur.
