I am a caregiver for a family that Carter provides services too. On behalf of myself and the family we would like to thank, especially Nurse Shannon, and Tracy for all the exceptional care that they give and going above and beyond to make sure that they take care of those they provide care too. Thank you all so much for all that you do.

While Carter did supply the initial equipment I need, they are slow to respond to requests for changes in resupply orders, and my first and so far most recent resupply order did not include what I requested. I have sent multiple messages through the Carter website, with no response received. I do not have access to the patient portal to make these resupply changes on my own, and Carter charges my insurance roughly double what I would pay to buy the same supplies at retail. Their other contact method, by telephone, is also tedious to use, as one must leave a message and then receive a callback. They do not provide a clear way to reach someone on the first call who can resolve issues. They set me up with equipment rental when I expected outright purchase, and my attempts to reach them to resolve this have so far failed.

I want to thank the hospice staff, and Stephanie in particular, at Carter Healthcare who took care of my brother during his final days. They were compassionate, professional and respectful in every way. They made sure he was comfortable and pain-free and treated him with dignity and kindness. When I called Stephanie about hospice care for my brother, I was overwhelmed and frustrated with the lack of help the hospital provided. She was so helpful and caring, gave us options and then miraculously made it happen. I will never forget her kindness and dedication. Thank you for everything you did for us.
