The Kids Care team is the reason I’m able to attend school and support my son as a single mom. In the beginning, I was extremely nervous about having unfamiliar people in my home caring for my son, especially because I’m a germaphobe and have specific routines to meet his medical needs. But Kids Care created a space where I felt comfortable expressing my concerns and preferences. I was able to train the amazing nurses on how I like things done, and they followed my instructions without ever making me feel unreasonable or overprotective. I’ve learned and grown so much with these nurses by our side. What really stood out to me about Kids Care is that my son is not just a number to them. They ensure nurses and families are a good match and genuinely get to know your family, supporting you well. They routinely check in to make sure everyone is satisfied and provide a safe space to share feedback. They truly go above and beyond. For example, Erin the Director of Nursing once went to my home just to leave a message on the door for my son’s therapist because I didn’t have a phone at the time and couldn’t reach them. Small things like that are what set Kids Care apart. No other company would have done that. With other agencies, I felt rushed and pressured into accepting nursing care. They didn’t make me feel safe as a new mom, and it seemed like my son was just another case. I wanted a company that understood my hesitation, treated my son as their own, and checked in regularly. Kids Care gave me all of that and more. Every family with a medically complex child should have the support Kids Care provides. I recommend them to every family I meet, and I will forever be grateful for the Kids Care team.

We have used KidsCare for nursing and therapy for multiple kids over the last 2 years. We have had nothing but amazing experiences with everyone we worked with. Our occupational, speech, and physical therapists have nothing but my kids’ best interest at heart. Switching from driving 30 minutes away for my kids to receive therapeutic services to being able to receive those same services with the same level of care and expertise in our home has been a huge godsend. We also love our nurses. When my daughter had a trach placed and we were able to get nursing hours to help with her care, KidsCare was the only nursing agency out of many that we reached out to that seemed willing to help us find a nurse quickly rather than giving us excuses and ignoring communication. We’ve gotten lucky with some pretty amazing nurses for my daughter and truly couldn’t imagine our lives without any of them. Not only do they show love and compassion for my daughter, but for all of my children who can be very insistent on being involved with their sister. Every person we’ve interacted with at KidsCare have gone above and beyond any expectation we had.

Can’t imagine how hard my life would be without them, when you have a kid who depends on ventilator. They have been providing us best nurses and therapists! Thankful to the director of nursing (Erin) who also visits us every month.

My daughter has ASD and we needed a speech therapist that could help us improve her communication skills. Frankie Dow was such a pleasure to work with. She was flexible, punctual, kind, patient and made sure my daughter had every resource to help her communicate better. She also gave us, the parents, great tips so we could offer the best support.

Extremely difficult to work with. They took 4 months to complete insurance approvals and put up so many obstacles I finally gave up.
