I have Kaiser insurance, but due to a full caseload at Kaiser, I was farmed out to Adventist Health Home Care. I was just home from a fifty day hospital and SNF stint, and in need of occupational therapy, physical therapy, and a nurse. I was bed-bound and very weak. Over the next five months, my therapists were able to get me much more independent and mobile. I can now use the toilet independently, and walk a block with a walker. I consider it to be tremendous progress. My therapists (and the nurse) were compassionate, patient, professional, and highly competent. They always showed up with an excellent plan on how to move forward. They made a huge difference in my life, and I will always be grateful for their wonderful work.

PT/OT I'm very disappointed. So first thing I didn't like was there scheduling process, witch was call the night before service and then they were never on time. Second they told me I would have a male physical therapist and then their other PT decided to change it on her own. Thirdly they did something called "co treatment"  where they would send both PT/OT at the same time and then the OT took charge of the visit

I have extensive wounds on my lower extremities. Nurse Jamie my wound care nurse is positively the best nurse I've had since 2/4/23 and it's now 6/28/24. She has an entirely different way of taking care of my wounds from the people in the hospital. In the 2 weeks she's been my NURSE my legs are finally getting better. She's not afraid to try different ways of healing and what she does works. The hospital scares me now. It's like they didn't want me to get better. NURSE JAMIE DOES and she is committed to doing whatever it takes to heal these wounds I've had for over 1 n 1/2 years. THANK YOU NURSE JAMIE FOR YOUR COMMITMENT TO HEALING ME ONCE AND FOR ALL. YOU ARE AMAZING. SO in conclusion Adventist Health is a miracle. Give them a chance you'll be happy that you did. The nurses are magical.

The Adventist Health Home Care Services have been very valuable in my challenging post surgery recovery. We are very fortunate to have received the home visits from these well trained kind and caring professionals. The two I have worked with most often are Paul and Brooke, each very talented Physical Therapists. Their understanding, direction and encouragement was quite useful and productive. Paul is an exceptional provider, I believe top notch in his field ! We are very grateful to The Adventist Home Health Care Services Portland Oregon.
